Every public review of any Android app, straight from Google Play — reviewer, stars, text, date, thumbs up, the app version it was written on, the developer's reply, and the app's own rating, review count, installs and star histogram — newest first, per country and language. Paste a link, a package name or an app name. No login, no API key, $0.20 per 1,000 reviews.

If you build, market or research Android apps, you know Google Play shows reviews a screen at a time and offers no export. The reviews are public — all of them — and the store page reads them through a plain request, up to a hundred at a time, newest first or by rating, with a star filter. We wired that request up so you can pull the whole history of any app in any country into a table, filter it, and watch it week by week.

We built this to feed our own review-intelligence reports and use it daily. Now we're sharing it.

Who it's for

  • Product teams — "what are people complaining about since the last release?": newest first, 1–2 stars, since a date.
  • Competitive research — "the last 1,000 reviews of each of our three competitors, in the US, the UK and Germany."
  • App marketers and ASO — "which reviews got a developer reply, and how fast?"
  • Support and community — "every new review since Monday, into Slack or a sheet."
  • AI agents and pipelines — "reviews of app X as flat JSON, with the app's rating and histogram on every row."

Each row: reviewer name and avatar, stars, text, date, thumbs up, the app version the review was written on, the developer's reply and its date (when there is one), and — repeated on every row so the table stands alone — the app's name, developer, category, current version, overall rating, rating count, review count, installs and the 1★…5★ histogram, the country and language, and a link that opens the review on Google Play.

Options that matter

  • Countries and languages — Google Play lists reviews per country (gl) and language (hl). You get one row set per app per combination.
  • Order — Newest first (the default), Most relevant (what the Play page shows), or Rating (highest first).
  • Only these star ratings — pick 1 and 2 for the complaints. Google filters on its side, so you pay only for the matching reviews.
  • Only reviews published on or after — with Newest first the Actor stops paging as soon as it reaches older reviews, so a weekly check of a busy app costs only the new reviews.
  • Maximum reviews per app and locale — the cap on delivered rows and on what you pay. 50 is a quick look, 5,000 a deep history.

How to set it up

  1. Paste the apps (links, package names or app names), one per line.
  2. Pick countries, languages, the order and the filters, and set the maximum reviews per app.
  3. Run. Rows land in the dataset app by app; the status message and the OUTPUT record say how each app was resolved, how many pages were read, what was filtered out and why the Actor stopped.

Pricing

Pay per result: $0.0002 per review ($0.20 per 1,000), plus the platform's start fee ($0.005 per GB of memory, one unit at the default 512 MB). Reviews removed by your star or date filters, duplicates and empty runs are never charged.

Notes

  • No account, no key. Everything comes from Google Play's public app page and the public reviews request the page itself uses.
  • Developer replies come with the review when the developer answered — including the reply's date.
  • Pre-installed and region-locked apps. An app that is not on Google Play in a country has no page there — the row set is empty and the summary says not found for that pair.
  • Proxies. Reads go through Apify's datacenter proxy; a blocked session is rotated, and residential is used by itself when the datacenter pool is blocked too.
