π What is Flipkart Product Scraper?
Flipkart Product Scraper collects prices, MRP, discounts, ratings, specifications, seller details, offers, images and sample reviews from Flipkart for ecommerce sellers, brands and market researchers. Just type a keyword such as watch or paste a Flipkart category or search page URL, then click Start, with no coding needed.
This Indian ecommerce scraper is built for teams that work with the Indian market, from pricing analysts to agencies. It turns Flipkart search results into structured rows you can download, schedule or send to other tools.
- Flipkart price monitoring: schedule runs to take regular snapshots of prices, MRPs and discounts for the products you care about.
- Flipkart competitor analysis: see how rival brands price, discount and rate on the same keyword or category.
- Flipkart price comparison: compare prices, MRPs and discounts across Flipkart products, brands and categories, or feed them into your own comparison sheet.
- Catalog and category research: collect specifications, brands, breadcrumbs and variants for a whole category.
- Product datasets for BI and ML: build a Flipkart product dataset for spreadsheets, dashboards or models.
- Local availability checks: add a delivery PIN code to see prices and stock for that location, where Flipkart supports it.
- AI agents and automation: give AI assistants and workflows live Flipkart data through the Apify API or MCP.
You don't need a Flipkart account or a Flipkart API key, only a free Apify account. Flipkart Product Scraper reads the same public pages a shopper sees.
What can Flipkart Product Scraper do?
- π Search by keyword or URL: mix plain keywords with Flipkart category and search page URLs in one bulk list. Each line is detected automatically.
- βοΈ Sort and limit: sort by relevance, popularity, price (low to high or high to low) or newest, and set the number of products and pages for each keyword or URL.
- π² Prices and discounts: as a Flipkart price scraper, it gets the selling price, MRP, discount percent, discount amount and discount text for every product.
- π Detail-page data: with the detail page on, it works as a full Flipkart product extractor and adds the rating breakdown, full specifications, warranty, seller, Flipkart offers, EMI, exchange offer, return policy, up to 5 sample reviews, breadcrumbs and variants.
- π§Ή Skip duplicates: while duplicate removal is on (the default), each Flipkart product ID is saved only once per run, even when your keywords or URLs overlap.
- π¦ Export anywhere: download results as JSON, CSV, Excel, XML or HTML, or pull them through the API.
- π Use the Apify platform: run via API, schedule runs, monitor them, and connect to Make, Zapier, Google Sheets and more. The Actor can use Apify Proxy, and it can switch to Apify Proxy on its own during the run if Flipkart blocks or rate-limits requests.
π What data can Flipkart Product Scraper extract?
Each product row holds the Flipkart product data shown on search and category pages. With Fetch full product detail page on (the default), it also adds the fields from each product's own page. Fields marked (detail page) are only filled when that option is on.

Every row keeps the Flipkart product price details together: selling price, MRP, discount amount and discount percent. Without the detail page you still get the public Flipkart product listing data: title, brand, price, MRP, discount, stock and images. All prices are in INR (currency), and market_place is always FLIPKART.
- Which ID should I use?
idis the Flipkart product ID. Use it to match the same product across runs.item_idis theitmβ¦part of the product URL, andlisting_idis Flipkart's listing ID. - Which time should I use?
fetched_atis when the product was scraped.scrapedAtholds the same time, so either one works for a price history.
Note: Fields that Flipkart doesn't show for a product come back as
null. Flipkart product seller details (name, ID, rating and total ratings) are collected on a best-effort basis, so the seller name can benull, for example. If one product page can't be read, the product is still saved with its listing data anddetail_fetchedisfalse.
What data can't Flipkart Product Scraper extract?
- Full review lists: you get up to 5 sample reviews per product. For complete reviews, use Flipkart Reviews Scraper.
- Price history: each run is a snapshot. Schedule runs to build your own history.
- Seller contact details: these are not collected.
- Single product pages as input: only keywords and Flipkart search or category page URLs are supported. To get the reviews of one product from its URL or ID, use Flipkart Reviews Scraper.
π How to scrape Flipkart product data
- Create a free Apify account using your email.
- Open Flipkart Product Scraper.
- In Keywords or Flipkart URLs, add one or more keywords or Flipkart search or category page URLs, one per line. For a first run, try one keyword and leave the other fields as they are.
- Click Start. Products appear in the dataset while the run is still going.
- Open the Output tab, select the Products view, click Export and choose Excel, CSV, JSON, XML or HTML. The Overview view also holds one progress row per keyword or URL, so use Products for a product spreadsheet.
π² How much does it cost to scrape Flipkart?
Flipkart Product Scraper uses pay-per-event pricing. Your bill for a run has three parts:
- π¦ Product results: $0.0025 for each product saved to the dataset, which is $2.50 per 1,000 product results on the Free plan (lower on paid plans, see below). Progress rows are not charged.
- βΆοΈ Actor start: $0.00005 per GB of run memory, charged once when the run starts. At the default 1 GB of memory, that's $0.00005 per run.
- βοΈ Apify platform usage: the platform resources the run uses, billed by Apify on top of the two events above. It depends on how long the run takes and how much memory it uses. You can see it on the run's page after it finishes.
| Apify plan | Price per product result | Price per 1,000 product results |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0.0025 | $2.50 |
| Starter | $0.00225 | $2.25 |
| Scale | $0.002 | $2.00 |
| Business and higher | $0.00175 | $1.75 |
The plan discount applies to the result price only. The start fee is the same on every plan, and platform usage is billed at your Apify plan's own rates.
For example, at the Free plan price, 1,000 products cost $2.50 in product results, plus $0.00005 for the Actor start at the default memory, plus your platform usage. See the pricing tab for the current events.
Is scraping Flipkart free?
You can try it on the Apify Free plan, which gives you $5 in monthly credit. Free-plan runs work the same as paid runs: there's no overall cap per run, and the same limits apply to each keyword or URL (up to 5,000 products and 500 result pages each). The credit pays for product results and platform usage together, so set a maximum charge limit when you start a run and do a small test run first.
How can I control the cost of a run?
- Set Maximum products per URL / keyword. Each product result is charged, so this field drives your cost.
- Set a maximum cost for the run in Apify Console or through the API (see how pay-per-event limits work). When the run reaches it, it stops adding products and keeps the ones already saved.
- Turn off Fetch full product detail page if price and discount are enough. Runs are faster without it, which can lower your platform usage.
β¬οΈ Flipkart Product Scraper input
To run Flipkart Product Scraper, you only need one or more keywords or Flipkart URLs in Keywords or Flipkart URLs. For a first run, you can leave everything else as it is:
- Fetch full product detail page is on by default, so you get ratings, specs and seller data. Turn it off only if price and discount are enough.
- Proxy configuration starts without a proxy by default, and the Actor can switch to Apify Proxy on its own during the run if Flipkart blocks or rate-limits requests. You don't need to change it for a first run.
Set the input in the Actor's form, or send it as JSON through the API. Here's an example that asks for the first 20 products for the keyword watch, with full detail pages:
{"urls": ["watch"],"maxProductsPerUrl": 20,"sort": "relevance","scrapeProductDetails": true}
See the input tab for a full description of all fields.
| Field in the form | JSON name | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|
| Keywords or Flipkart URLs | urls | required | Keywords or Flipkart search or category page URLs, one per line |
| Maximum products per URL / keyword | maxProductsPerUrl | 20 | Products collected per keyword or URL (up to 5,000) |
| Sort results by | sort | relevance | relevance, popularity, price_asc, price_desc or newest |
| Fetch full product detail page | scrapeProductDetails | true | Opens each product's page for ratings, specs, seller, offers and reviews |
| Max pages per target | maxPagesPerTarget | 50 | Maximum result pages per keyword or URL (1 to 500) |
| Remove duplicate products | dedupeProducts | true | Skips a product already collected in the same run |
| Delivery pincode | pincode | empty | Optional Indian delivery PIN code, for example 110001 |
| Targets in parallel | searchConcurrency | 5 | Keywords or URLs processed at the same time (1 to 30) |
| Product detail pages in parallel | detailConcurrency | 8 | Product pages opened at the same time (1 to 30) |
| Max retries per request | maxRequestRetries | 3 | Attempts per request before giving up (1 to 10) |
| Request timeout (seconds) | requestTimeoutSecs | 30 | Request timeout in seconds (5 to 120) |
| Minimum delay between requests (seconds) | requestDelay | 0 | Minimum seconds between requests (0 to 10) |
| Include raw search-tile data | includeRawProductData | true | Keeps the raw listing object in productData |
| Include raw detail-page data | includeRawDetailPage | false | Keeps the raw detail-page object in _rawDetail (verbose) |
| Proxy configuration | proxyConfiguration | no proxy | Starts without a proxy; switches to Apify Proxy on its own if Flipkart blocks or rate-limits requests. Turn on Apify Proxy to start with it. |
Keywords or Flipkart URLs (urls)
A plain keyword turns the Actor into a Flipkart search scraper: it runs the same search a shopper would. A line that starts with http:// or https:// is treated as a URL, and anything else becomes a search for that keyword.
- β
Good:
bluetooth headphonesorhttps://www.flipkart.com/search?q=watch - β Bad:
www.flipkart.com/search?q=watch(nohttps://, so it is searched as a keyword)
β οΈ A pasted URL is the starting page. Its page number is ignored, so every keyword or URL starts from the first results page, and its sort order is replaced by the Sort results by field.
Maximum products per URL / keyword (maxProductsPerUrl)
The limit applies to each line, so the total can be up to maxProductsPerUrl Γ the number of lines. The input form allows larger numbers, but the Actor collects at most 5,000 products per keyword or URL.
- β
Good:
20for a quick test,1000for a full category - β Bad:
100000(it is capped at 5,000)
β οΈ Each product result is charged, so this field drives your cost.
Sort results by (sort)
The sort field always decides the order, for keywords and pasted URLs alike. A sort order already inside a pasted URL is not kept: with relevance it is removed, and any other choice replaces it.
- β
Good:
sort=price_ascwithhttps://www.flipkart.com/search?q=watch - β Bad: pasting a URL sorted by price and leaving
sortonrelevance(results come back in relevance order)
β οΈ Choose the order in this field, not in the URL.
Fetch full product detail page (scrapeProductDetails)
Turn this on to get full Flipkart product details. The Actor makes one extra request per unique product to add specifications, rating breakdown, warranty, seller, offers, EMI, exchange offer, return policy, sample reviews, breadcrumbs and variants.
- β
Good:
truewhen you need ratings, specs or seller data - β Bad:
falsewhen you need ratings
β οΈ With this field off, runs are faster, but
rating,rating_count,review_countand every detail-page field arenull.
β¬οΈ Flipkart Product Scraper output
Results are stored in a dataset in the Output or Storage tab. Products are saved while the run is going, so you can watch them arrive. You can view the data as a table or JSON, pick only the fields you need, and download it in JSON, CSV, Excel, XML or HTML. At the end of the run, a combined JSON array of all products is also saved in the key-value store under OUTPUT.
The dataset holds two kinds of rows:
- Product rows (
recordType=product): one per product. These are the charged product results. - Progress rows (
recordType=searchProgress): one per keyword or URL, with pages scraped, products found and a status. These are not charged.
The dataset has four views:
- ποΈ Products: product rows only, with the main columns (price, MRP, discount, rating, stock, seller, warranty and product link). Use this view for a spreadsheet.
- π Specifications & Ratings: the full Flipkart product specifications, rating breakdown, sample reviews, offers, EMI, exchange offer, return policy, breadcrumbs and variants.
- π Search Progress & Stats: the progress rows: your input line, pages scraped, products found, products requested, whether the limit was reached, the status (
ok,partial, emptyorerror) and when the line finished. - ποΈ Overview: both kinds of rows together. Use
recordTypeto tell them apart. Its "Fetched at" column is filled for progress rows only. For products, usefetched_at.

How to export Flipkart data to Excel
Open the run's Output tab, select the Products view, choose Export, and pick Excel (or CSV). The Products view has the main columns only. If you also need id, fetched_at or the detail fields, export all fields and keep the rows where recordType is product. You can also get the same file from the API in any of the supported formats.
π‘ Flipkart Product Scraper tips and advanced usage
How many results can you scrape with Flipkart Product Scraper?
Flipkart Product Scraper collects up to 5,000 products and up to 500 result pages per keyword or URL. There's no overall cap per run. The exact number depends on how many products Flipkart lists for your keyword or category, your maxProductsPerUrl and maxPagesPerTarget settings, duplicates, and your maximum cost per run. Paging stops when a results page has no new products. The best way to know for your use case is a quick test run.
How to get faster or cheaper results
- Turn off
scrapeProductDetailsif listing data (price, MRP, discount, stock, images) is enough. You save one request per product. - Keep
maxProductsPerUrllow for tests. You pay per product result, so fewer products means a lower bill. - Put many keywords in one run instead of starting many small runs. Each run start is a separate event.
- If several lines end with the
errorstatus in Search Progress & Stats, try again with a smallrequestDelay, for example 1 or 2 seconds.
Flipkart price tracker with scheduled runs
For regular Flipkart scraping, save your input as a task and add an Apify schedule. Each run stores a fresh snapshot of price, MRP, discount and stock. Join the runs on id and use fetched_at as the date to build your own Flipkart price tracker. This setup works for competitor price monitoring and wider ecommerce price monitoring across a fixed set of keywords or categories.
Known issues
- The input form shows a maximum of 500,000 for
maxProductsPerUrl, but the Actor stops at 5,000 per keyword or URL. - With
scrapeProductDetailsoff, rating and detail-page fields arenull. - Some fields are
nullwhen Flipkart doesn't show them for a product, for example a seller name.
π Flipkart Product Scraper integrations and API
Can I use Flipkart Product Scraper as an API?
Yes. Flipkart Product Scraper works as a Flipkart scraper API through the Apify API: start runs, schedule them and fetch results with code. You send a keyword and get product rows back, so it can stand in for a Flipkart product search API. Use the apify-client NPM package for Node.js or the apify-client PyPI package for Python. See the API tab for ready-to-use code.
Category page URLs work the same way. A scheduled API call with your category URLs gives you a simple Flipkart product listing API for the categories you follow.
How to scrape data from Flipkart using Python
If you prefer Flipkart web scraping from your own code, call the Actor with the Apify Python client and keep only the product rows:
from apify_client import ApifyClientclient = ApifyClient("<YOUR_API_TOKEN>")run = client.actor("insights_data/flipkart-product-scraper").call(run_input={"urls": ["watch"],"maxProductsPerUrl": 20,"sort": "relevance","scrapeProductDetails": True,})for item in client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).iterate_items():if item.get("recordType") == "product":print(item["title"], item["price"], item.get("rating"))
Can I integrate Flipkart Product Scraper with other apps?
Yes. Connect Flipkart Product Scraper with almost any cloud service through Apify integrations: Make, Zapier, Slack, Google Sheets, Google Drive, Airbyte, GitHub, LangChain and more. Use webhooks to trigger actions when a run finishes.
For example, turn Flipkart data scraping into a daily report: schedule a run for your category URLs, send the products to Google Sheets, and post a Slack message when a tracked product's discount_percent changes.
Can I use Flipkart Product Scraper with AI agents (MCP)?
Yes. Connect Flipkart Product Scraper to Claude and other AI assistants through the Apify MCP server. Your agent can start a run and read the product rows. Open the MCP tab for setup steps.

β FAQ
Is it legal to scrape Flipkart?
Web scraping is generally legal if you extract publicly available data. Flipkart Product Scraper only collects public product information. You should still respect personal data rules (for example, GDPR), collect personal data only with a legitimate reason, respect intellectual property, and take Flipkart's Terms of Use into account. This is not legal advice. If you're unsure, ask a lawyer.
How does Flipkart Product Scraper work?
It works like a shopper browsing Flipkart, only faster, and Flipkart data extraction happens in two steps. First, each keyword becomes a Flipkart search, and each URL is used as the starting page, with its sort order and page number set by your input. Like a Flipkart crawler that only follows your own targets, it pages through those results (up to maxPagesPerTarget), collects each product's listing data up to your limits, and skips duplicates. It doesn't crawl the whole site. Second, if Fetch full product detail page is on, it opens each unique product's page to add specs, rating breakdown, seller, offers and sample reviews.
How is Flipkart Product Scraper different from the official Flipkart API?
Flipkart provides official product data through its Affiliate API. According to the Flipkart Affiliate API documentation, registered affiliates get access with a private Affiliate API Token. If you need a Flipkart product API without joining the affiliate program, Flipkart Product Scraper reads the public pages a shopper sees.
| Flipkart Affiliate API | Flipkart Product Scraper | |
|---|---|---|
| Who can use it | Registered Flipkart affiliates with an Affiliate API Token | Anyone with an Apify account, no Flipkart account or API key |
| Input | API requests as described in the affiliate docs | Keywords and Flipkart search or category page URLs |
| Data | Product, offer and report APIs for affiliates | Public listing data, plus optional detail-page data (specs, seller, offers, up to 5 sample reviews) |
| Output | API responses | Dataset you can export as JSON, CSV, Excel, XML or HTML, or read through the Apify API |
Is there a Flipkart API free to use for product data?
Flipkart doesn't offer an open Flipkart API for products that anyone can call without signing up: its Affiliate API is for registered affiliates. Flipkart Product Scraper isn't free either, as you pay per product result.
Why am I getting fewer results than expected?
Check these settings first:
maxProductsPerUrldefaults to 20. Raise it for more products per keyword or URL.maxPagesPerTargetmay stop paging before your product limit is reached.- With
dedupeProductson, products already collected from another line are skipped. - Your maximum cost for the run may have been reached. The run then stops adding products and keeps what it saved.
- Flipkart may list fewer products for that keyword or category. Check the Search Progress & Stats view for pages scraped and products found.
- A URL without
http://orhttps://is searched as a keyword.
What do the statuses mean, and what if my run fails?
A problem with one keyword or URL doesn't stop the whole run. The other lines keep going, and each line gets its own status in the Search Progress & Stats view:
ok: the line finished normally. Paging stopped at your product limit, at your page limit, or when Flipkart had no more new products. Check "Reached limit?" to see if you got the number you asked for.empty: the first results page had no products. Check the keyword, or that the URL is a Flipkart search or category page starting withhttps://.partial: a later results page couldn't be read. Products from the earlier pages are kept.error: a results page couldn't be loaded after all attempts, or the first page couldn't be read. Products collected before that point are kept. Try the run again later, or with a smallrequestDelay(for example 1 or 2 seconds).
"Products found" counts the new products collected for that line, after duplicate removal and up to your maxProductsPerUrl limit. The number saved can be lower, for example when your maximum cost is reached. If a product's own page can't be loaded, the product is still saved with detail_fetched = false.
If the input is invalid, for example an unknown sort value sent through the API, the run fails and its status message says why. If a run fails or the results look wrong, open an issue on the Issues tab and include the run link.
Do I need a Flipkart API key or coding skills?
No. Flipkart Product Scraper is a no-code Flipkart web scraper: you don't need a Flipkart API key or a Flipkart account. Enter keywords or URLs in the form and click Start. Developers can still use the Apify API and the Python or Node.js clients.
Is this a Flipkart data scraper for any category?
Yes. Use a keyword, or paste a Flipkart category page URL and it works as a Flipkart category scraper for that page. It isn't limited to one category. Results depend on what Flipkart lists for that page.
