Give it a list of URLs; it follows each one hop by hop and tells you where it really ends up: every
redirect with its status code, the final URL and its status. Useful after a site migration, for
checking that http:// goes to https://, or for finding redirect loops and chains that waste
crawl budget.
Free: you only pay Apify's platform usage, which is a fraction of a cent for hundreds of URLs.
Output, one row per URL
{"url": "http://github.com","finalUrl": "https://github.com/","finalStatus": 200,"redirects": 1,"hops": [{"url": "http://github.com", "status": 301}, {"url": "https://github.com/", "status": 200}],"error": null}
Up to 10 redirects per URL; more than that is reported as an error. Unreachable hosts and timeouts
come back as rows with error set, so one bad URL never fails the run.
