Price: $0.05 per usable bounded technology radar.
Turn a bounded current top-story sample from the official Hacker News API into an attention radar without returning users, titles or text.
Input
Provide 1–5 short technology terms and choose 5–20 current top-story IDs to sample. Terms are normalized and counted only against fetched story titles.
Output
One row reports valid sample size, median score/discussion, top external domains, term mention counts and limited story ID/link evidence. It is an attention proxy, not sentiment, market size or a forecast.
Pricing
$0.05 for one usable radar-created row, atomically charged with the dataset push. Zero mentions remain useful and billable; an empty valid-story sample or source failure is not.
Limits
One list request plus at most twenty item requests run sequentially with two seconds between starts, a 2 MiB response cap, 15 second HTTP timeout, and 180 second run timeout. Item identity mismatch and malformed data fail explicitly.
Privacy
Usernames, profiles, titles, story text and comment text are never returned. Only story IDs, external links/domains and aggregate score/comment counts are retained. Hacker News is the source and does not endorse this product.
