A contact and performance database for real estate agents, built from Zillow's agent directory. Search by state or city and get back names, license numbers, and the numbers that actually tell you if an agent is any good.

Zillow Agent Scraper Features

  • Searches Zillow's agent directory by state and city, across all 50 states plus DC
  • Returns license number, brokerage, and contact details for every agent found
  • Captures specialties, languages, and areas served — the fields that qualify a lead before you call it
  • Pulls review rating, review count, and (when the agent reports it) sales in the last 12 months and price range
  • Deduplicates agents who show up in multiple nearby-city searches, so you don't pay for the same record twice

Who Uses Agent Directory Data?

  • Mortgage lenders — build a referral list of active agents by market, filtered by license status and recent sales volume
  • Proptech and CRM vendors — seed a national agent database without hand-collecting license numbers state by state
  • Marketing agencies — target outreach by specialty (relocation, luxury, first-time buyers) instead of blasting every agent in a zip code
  • Brokerages and recruiters — scout producing agents in a target market by sales activity and review count

How the Zillow Agent Scraper Works

  1. You pick one or more states (or leave it blank for the whole country) and a record limit.
  2. The actor searches Zillow's agent directory city by city within your selected states.
  3. Each agent card found is opened for the full profile — contact info, license, specialties, service areas, and sales stats.
  4. Records stream to your dataset as they're collected, deduplicated by agent so overlapping city searches never double-charge you.

Input

{

"states": ["TX", "CA"],
"maxPagesPerCity": 5
}
FieldTypeDefaultDescription
maxItemsinteger10Maximum number of agent records to return.
statesarray of stringallUS states to search, as 2-letter codes (e.g. ["TX", "CA", "NY"]). Leave empty to search every state.
maxPagesPerCityinteger5How deep to paginate each city search (Zillow caps results at 25 pages per city). Lower it to spread a fixed maxItems budget across more cities; raise it to go deeper on fewer cities.

Resuming a large crawl

Every run emits a resumeCursor in its Output. If a large crawl stops before it finishes — because it hit maxItems, your spend cap (maxTotalChargeUsd), or was aborted — start a new run with the same input plus that resumeCursor to continue from where it left off. The crawl resumes from the queued work the previous run didn't reach.

  • You are not re-charged for records the earlier run already delivered.
  • Resume within your account's run-retention window — on the free tier, roughly your 10 most recent runs. Once the source run is pruned, its resumeCursor is no longer valid.
  • resumeCursor is opaque — supply it unmodified.

Not every field is populated for every agent — recent_sales_count, average_price_range, and languages are self-reported, and plenty of agents leave them blank on their own profile. The rest come straight off the directory and profile page, so they're there whenever Zillow has them.

FAQ

How do I search agents in a specific state?

Pass the two-letter state code(s) in the states array — ["TX"] for Texas, ["TX", "OK"] for both. Leave it empty and the actor searches every state.

Why does an agent's state field not match the state I searched?

Zillow's directory search is radius-based, not a strict city-limits filter — an agent found in a Wyoming search can have their licensed business address in a neighboring state if they hold reciprocal licenses and work across the line. Check areas_served for confirmation the agent actually covers the market you searched.

Why are some fields empty?

languages, recent_sales_count, and average_price_range are self-reported by the agent on their own Zillow profile. An agent who never filled those in on Zillow won't have them here either.

Can I get every agent in a state in one run?

Yes — set states to the state you want and maxItems high enough to cover it. Large states will need multiple runs; use resumeCursor to continue where the previous run left off.

Why Use This Scraper?

  • License numbers, not just names — every record carries the agent's real estate license number, so you can verify who you're actually contacting.
  • Performance signals included — rating, review count, and (when reported) recent sales volume and price range, so you can rank leads instead of cold-calling a flat list.
  • National by default — no state-by-state scraper hunting. Point it at the whole country or narrow to exactly the markets you need.
