Zillow Property Listings Scraper exports homes from any Zillow search or listing URL as clean, structured data: price, address, beds, baths, living area, photos, Zestimate and listing status, one row per home. Paste a Zillow search for a city, ZIP code or neighborhood, click Start, and download the results as JSON, CSV or Excel. Turn on Property details to also get the description, agent and broker phone, MLS number and price history. No Zillow account, login or cookies needed.

What data can you extract from Zillow?

Every row has up to 97 fields. The first group comes with every listing. The second group comes when Property details is on, and always for single-listing links.

Use cases

  • Real estate investors build lists of homes in a market, compare asking prices with the Zestimate and tax assessed value, and spot price cuts.
  • Market analysts and researchers track inventory, prices per square foot and days on market across cities and ZIP codes, or study recent sales with the Sold filter.
  • PropTech teams feed Zillow listing data into valuation models, dashboards and property apps.
  • Lead-gen agencies, lenders and home service businesses collect listing agents, brokerages and MLS numbers for outreach, with Property details on.
  • Rental market analysts compare monthly rents and Rent Zestimates by neighborhood.
  • Agents and brokers monitor competing listings, open houses and new construction in their area on a schedule.

How to scrape Zillow listings

  1. Open the Zillow Property Listings Scraper on Apify and click Try for free.
  2. On zillow.com, search for a city, ZIP code or neighborhood, apply any filters, and copy the URL from your browser's address bar.
  3. Paste it into Zillow URLs. Add as many search URLs or single-listing links as you want, one per line.
  4. Set Max results per URL, and switch on Property details if you need agent contact, MLS and price history.
  5. Optionally set the Filters (status, price, bedrooms, bathrooms, home type, listed or sold within).
  6. Click Start. When the run finishes, download your Zillow data as JSON, CSV or Excel, or read it through the Apify API.

Input

FieldWhat it does
Zillow URLsSearch URLs or links to single listings, one per line. Required.
Property detailsAlso collects the description, agent and broker phone, MLS record, facts, HOA, tax rate, mortgage rates and price history for each listing. Runs take longer.
Max results per URLStops after this many listings for each URL. Default 1,000.
Listing statusSame as URL, Sold or For rent.
Min price / Max pricePrice range in USD. For rentals, the monthly rent.
Bedrooms / BathroomsMinimum number, for example 3+.
Home typeHouses, Townhomes, Multi-family, Condos/Co-ops, Apartments, Manufactured or Lots/Land.
Listed or sold withinFrom 1 day to 36 months. With Sold, the sale date.

Filters apply to every search URL, not to single-listing links. Each filter replaces the same filter in your URL; a filter left on its default keeps what your URL already has.

How much does it cost to scrape Zillow?

This Actor uses pay-per-event pricing: you pay only for the listings you get, with no monthly rental. On the Apify Free plan, the price is $1.00 per 1,000 listings.

  • Bronze, Silver and Gold Apify plans pay less: $0.90, $0.80 and $0.70 per 1,000 listings.
  • Property details is an add-on: $1.50 per 1,000 listings on the Free plan, and $1.35, $1.20 and $1.00 on Bronze, Silver and Gold. It is charged only for listings whose details loaded, and always for single-listing links, which include the details.

For example, 1,000 listings cost $1.00 on the Free plan, or $2.50 with Property details on. Apify's free monthly credit is enough to try the scraper.

Integrations and API

You can run the Zillow scraper from your own code through the Apify API, and get the results as JSON, CSV or Excel.

Python (pip install apify-client):

from apify_client import ApifyClient
client = ApifyClient("<YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN>")
run = client.actor("kekliktech/zillow-property-listings-scraper").call(run_input={
"startUrls": ["https://www.zillow.com/austin-tx/"],
"maxResultsPerUrl": 50,
})
for home in client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).iterate_items():
print(home["full_address"], home["price"])

Node.js (npm install apify-client):

import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';
const client = new ApifyClient({ token: '<YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN>' });
const run = await client.actor('kekliktech/zillow-property-listings-scraper').call({
startUrls: ['https://www.zillow.com/austin-tx/'],
maxResultsPerUrl: 50,
});
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
console.log(items);

You can also:

  • Schedule runs to track new listings and price cuts every day or week.
  • Use webhooks to get notified, or to start your own process, when a run finishes.
  • Connect the results to Make, Zapier, Google Sheets, Airbyte and other tools through Apify integrations.
  • Let AI agents run the scraper through the Apify MCP server.

FAQ

This scraper only collects data that Zillow shows publicly to any visitor, without logging in. Listings can include personal data, such as the names and phone numbers of agents. If you collect personal data, make sure you have a lawful reason to do so and follow the rules that apply to you, such as GDPR or CCPA. If you are unsure, ask a lawyer.

Do I need a Zillow account?

No. You don't need a Zillow account, login or cookies. Paste a URL and start the run.

Zillow shows at most about 980 listings for any one search, whatever total it displays. To collect more, split the search by ZIP code or by price range and add each one as its own URL. A listing that appears in several of your searches is exported only once.

Can I scrape sold homes and rentals?

Yes. Use a sold or rental search URL, or set Listing status to Sold or For rent. Some states, such as Texas, do not disclose sale prices, so the sold price can be empty there. Zillow shows many apartment complexes as one card per building with no single price; those cards are skipped, so a rentals search can return fewer rows than Zillow's count. Houses and individual units for rent are exported normally.

Why are some details missing?

Some fields depend on the listing. Sold and off-market homes have no description or price history on Zillow, though the MLS record and year built are usually there. Price history and the at-a-glance facts mostly appear on Zillow Showcase listings. The Zestimate is empty when Zillow does not show one for the home. With Property details on, a listing whose details could not be loaded keeps its basic row.

Can I get the agent's email?

Rarely. Zillow almost never shows agent emails, so this field is usually empty. The agent's name and phone and the broker phone are included with Property details on, when the listing shows them.

Why did some inputs fail?

Failed URLs are listed, with a reason, in the FAILED record of the run's key-value store (Storage tab):

  • invalid_url: not a Zillow URL, or Zillow does not recognise the search.
  • not_a_search_page: a Zillow page that is neither a search nor a listing.
  • wrong_input: the filters could not be applied to this search.
  • not_found: the single listing does not exist.
  • page_inaccessible: a later page of results could not be loaded. Listings collected before it are kept.
  • blocked: Zillow did not let the scraper through for this URL. Listings collected before it are kept. Run it again later.

A run with no listings at all ends as failed, so you can spot it quickly.

How fresh is the data?

Every run reads Zillow live. Dates are in UTC (ISO 8601). The MLS "last checked" and "last updated" times are in the listing's local time, as Zillow shows them. Photo links point to Zillow's image servers and can stop working after a listing is removed.
