What is HelloWork Jobs Scraper — France Hiring Data?
HelloWork Jobs Scraper searches public HelloWork France job listings by keyword and location and returns a dataset of normalized job records, one row per job. Each row has the job title, employer and employer profile, city, region, postal code, contract type, salary text with parsed minimum, maximum and period, description, posting date and the direct HelloWork job URL. What people and AI agents ask this Actor to do
Find developer jobs in Paris with salaries. How many data engineer roles are open in Lyon this week, and what do they pay? List companies hiring nurses in Bordeaux.
| Request | Input to send |
|---|---|
| Developer jobs in Paris | {"searchQuery": "developpeur", "location": "Paris", "maxResults": 50} |
| Salary benchmark across France | {"searchQuery": "data engineer", "maxResults": 200} |
| Hiring companies in a city | {"searchQuery": "infirmier", "location": "Bordeaux", "includeJobDetails": true} |
| Fast search-card sweep | {"searchQuery": "commercial", "location": "Lyon", "includeJobDetails": false} |
| Full descriptions for reading | {"searchQuery": "chef de projet", "responseFormat": "detailed"} |
Example workflow: from a role to a salary benchmark
A Paris staffing agency starts with searchQuery set to analyste developpeur, location set to Paris and maxResults at 150. The dataset returns each job's companyName, employmentType, salaryMin, salaryMax, postedAt and jobUrl. The account manager filters to rows with a parsed salary, compares the median range with what her clients offer, and exports the hiring companies that have no agency yet as a prospect list. She schedules the same search weekly so the sheet always shows fresh openings and current pay.

Pricing
This Actor uses Pay per event plus Apify platform usage. Each run charges one Actor Start event and one HelloWork job record scraped event for each validated job row saved to the dataset. Platform usage is billed on top at Apify's standard rates. The live Pricing tab on this page shows the current event prices.
Worked example: a search with maxResults at 50 that saves 50 jobs costs 50 HelloWork job record scraped events plus one Actor Start event and the run's platform usage. Setting includeJobDetails to false keeps the same event count and shortens the run, since it skips the listing pages.

Use with AI agents (MCP)
Connect the Actor through Apify MCP in Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor and ask:
Find 30 data analyst jobs in Lyon on HelloWork. Give me title, company, contract type and salary range, and tell me the average minimum salary among jobs that list one.
The agent sends searchQuery, location and maxResults, reads rows with get-dataset-items, and computes from salaryMin and salaryMax. It should cite jobUrl and postedAt for each job and scrapedAt for the snapshot. Keep responseFormat at concise so descriptions fit the context window; maxResults bounds both rows and cost.
Best results
| Starting situation | Helpful action | Expected outcome |
|---|---|---|
| A specific role | Use the French job title candidates search for, such as developpeur or infirmier | Results that match HelloWork's own search |
| A regional view | Put a region such as Île-de-France in location | Jobs across the whole region |
| Salary analysis | Keep includeJobDetails on | Parsed salary fields where employers publish pay |
| A quick count of openings | Set includeJobDetails to false | Faster search-card rows |
| Weekly monitoring | Schedule the same input and compare by jobId | New openings each week |
Builder's note
I built salary parsing into every row because pay is the first thing recruiters and analysts compare, and French listings write it in many styles. I added responseFormat after I found that AI workflows want short descriptions while human readers want the full text, so one Actor serves both without extra cleanup.
FAQ
Does it cover all of France?
Yes. Leave location empty to search every region on HelloWork France.
Why do some jobs have no salary fields?
The employer did not publish pay on the listing. salaryText and the parsed fields fill in whenever HelloWork shows a salary.
Can I search in English?
Yes. French job titles usually match more listings on HelloWork.
