Reliability and limits

• Official USAspending.gov award-search API only; no browser, proxy, login, or paid service.
• One bounded POST request per run, at most 100 rows, deterministic deduplication, conservative timeout, explicit User-Agent, and source URLs on every item.
• USAspending records can change as federal data is corrected. Verify important procurement facts against the official source and applicable award documents.

Omitted or empty awardTypeCodes selects contracts A, B, C, D. Use one award-type group per request. Missing codes previously caused HTTP 422 even when a manually configured example worked.

Pricing and limits

Standard pay-per-event pricing is USD 0.00005 per start at the configured memory plus USD 0.001 per dataset row. Ten rows cost USD 0.01005 in Actor charges. Check the Store pricing tab for your subscription tier. Set maxResults and Apify’s maximum charge before running; there is no schedule created by this Actor.

Empty results and troubleshooting

An empty dataset means no awards matched the requested filters. Widen the lookback or simplify the keywords. HTTP errors are failures, not evidence of zero federal spending.

For support, open the Actor’s Issues tab with the input filters, error code and run ID. Remove tokens and private information. Do not publish credentials or patient/contact data.
