Track products, prices, variants and stock levels on any public Shopify storefront.
Detect new, changed and removed items between runs. Ideal for competitive monitoring, dropshipping, price intelligence and inventory alerts.
🚀 What you get
- Full product + variant data (title, price, SKU, availability, images, etc.)
- Change detection across runs (new / changed / removed)
- Optional collection mapping
- Configurable max products and polite request delays
- Snapshot storage for historical comparison
📥 Input
| Field | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|
storeUrls | required | Shopify storefront URLs or domains |
maxProducts | 1000 | Max products per store (not variants) |
trackChanges | true | Compare with previous snapshot |
onlyChanges | false | Output only new/changed/removed items |
includeCollections | false | Map collection handles |
snapshotStoreName | shopify-tracker-snapshots | Named KV store for snapshots |
requestDelayMs | 1000 | Delay between requests |
Example input
{"storeUrls": ["https://hydrogen-preview.myshopify.com"],"maxProducts": 5,"trackChanges": false,"includeCollections": false,"requestDelayMs": 1000}
On that demo store, maxProducts: 5 still writes on the order of ~140 dataset rows, because each product can have many variants. Expect one paid result per variant, not per product.
📤 Output
One dataset item per variant (or change event) with product details, price, stock status and change flags when tracking is enabled. maxProducts caps how many products are fetched; billed rows follow the variant count.
Example output
Sample rows from a real owner run (public scrape data):
[{"store": "hydrogen-preview.myshopify.com","productId": 10568701444152,"handle": "bogo-2x1-bundle","title": "BOGO 2x1 Bundle","vendor": "Hydrogen","productType": "","tags": [],"variantId": 51436343066680,"variantTitle": "154cm / 154cm","sku": null,"price": 790,"compareAtPrice": null,"available": true,"inventory": null,"url": "https://hydrogen-preview.myshopify.com/products/bogo-2x1-bundle?variant=51436343066680","image": "https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0551/4566/0472/files/shopp-e-17449943880255e07c3f.png?v=1744994417","updatedAt": "2026-11-06T09:02:46-08:00","scrapedAt": "2026-11-06T17:02:45.198Z","collections": null,"changeType": null,"isNewProduct": null,"isRemoved": null,"priceChanged": null,"oldPrice": null,"newlyAvailable": null,"outOfStock": null},{"store": "hydrogen-preview.myshopify.com","productId": 10568701444152,"handle": "bogo-2x1-bundle","title": "BOGO 2x1 Bundle","vendor": "Hydrogen","productType": "","tags": [],"variantId": 51436343099448,"variantTitle": "154cm / 158cm","sku": null,"price": 790,"compareAtPrice": null,"available": true,"inventory": null,"url": "https://hydrogen-preview.myshopify.com/products/bogo-2x1-bundle?variant=51436343099448","image": "https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0551/4566/0472/files/shopp-e-17449943880255e07c3f.png?v=1744994417","updatedAt": "2026-11-06T09:02:46-08:00","scrapedAt": "2026-11-06T17:02:45.198Z","collections": null,"changeType": null,"isNewProduct": null,"isRemoved": null,"priceChanged": null,"oldPrice": null,"newlyAvailable": null,"outOfStock": null}]
