📞 Google Maps phone number scraper for local lead lists

Google Maps Phone Number Scraper helps sales teams, lead researchers, and developers collect public business phone numbers from Google Maps search targets and listing URLs. It returns one dataset row per eligible business with a phone number, source link, and useful listing details for local lead lists and review.

📦 Google Maps phone-number rows

Each dataset row is one Google Maps business listing with a public phone number. It keeps the first eligible match for a listing, along with the target that found it, the phone number, the source link, and available listing details. If the same listing appears under another target, later matches are ignored.

Optional fields can be null or empty arrays when Google Maps does not show them. Missing source data stays empty. The Actor does not create placeholder rows for empty searches, skipped targets, or listings without public phone numbers.

▶️ Build a local phone list

  1. Add one or more business categories, local search phrases, Google Maps search URLs, or Google Maps listing URLs under Search targets.
  2. Choose Country so the Actor has the market and dialing context for phone-number matching and formatting.
  3. Set Maximum phone numbers if you want a cap across all targets. Leave it empty to return all available results until the source is exhausted.
  4. Start the run and open the default dataset.

Target ideas

Try plumbers in Austin, dentists in Boston, restaurants in Miami, or https://www.google.com/maps/search/dentists+in+Boston.

This Actor charges one event for each saved business phone-number row. The event is created only when a Google Maps business listing has a public phone number and is saved to the dataset. No-result targets, empty searches, skipped targets, and listings without public phone numbers do not create this event.

One business phone number saved to your dataset.

❓ FAQ

What happens when the same listing matches two targets?

The first eligible match is saved. Later matches are ignored, so the row keeps the first matched input and source context.

What happens when a listing has no public phone number?

The listing is skipped. It does not create a placeholder row or a phone-number event.

Why can a target return fewer rows than my limit?

Google Maps may show fewer phone-bearing listings for that target. The Actor saves the public phone rows it can find and leaves no-result outcomes out of the dataset.

Can I submit a Google Maps search or listing URL?

Yes. Add public Google Maps search URLs or listing URLs to Search targets. You can also mix URLs with categories and local search phrases.

Can I leave Maximum phone numbers empty?

Yes. Leave it empty to return all available results until the source is exhausted. Set a positive number when you want a run-wide cap on saved phone rows.

When should I use the Google Maps Places API instead?

Use Google's official API when your workflow needs its supported access model or fields. Use this Actor when you want public Google Maps listing pages in an Apify dataset. Check the current Google Maps terms and API documentation for your use.

Do I need a Google login, cookies, or a Maps API key?

No. The public input does not ask for Google credentials, cookies, browser extensions, or a Google Maps API key.

Does this Actor collect business emails?

No. Email extraction is not part of this Actor. It returns phone-number rows and source-backed Google Maps listing context.

What should I check before using public Google Maps data?

Review Google's current terms and the rules that apply to your use. Use this Actor only for lawful purposes and public listing data. It does not collect private Google account data. Make sure your outreach and data-retention choices fit your obligations.

Does this find Google support or Google My Business phone numbers?

No. It is for business listings shown on Google Maps. It is not a Google support, Google My Business help, or customer-service phone-number finder.

What are Google Maps alternatives?

For other local lead work, combine this Actor with Actors for website email, business address, shared lists, or company profiles. Use a scraper made for another source instead of treating Google Maps as a general web directory.

What is a Google Maps phone number scraper?

It collects public business phone numbers from Google Maps listings and saves them as structured rows with source links and available business details.
