2. The actor fetches the listing page with impit (real Chrome TLS fingerprint) to bypass Cloudflare.
3. It extracts event links from the page's server-rendered preload data.
4. It fetches each event detail page in parallel and parses the schema.org MusicEvent JSON-LD.
5. Each event becomes one clean row in the dataset.

FAQ

Do I need a Bandsintown account or API key? No. The scraper reads the public website data. Bandsintown's REST API requires auth, but the website renders the same data without it.

Why does the default listing return only ~12 events? The default all-dates page shows a curated set. For more events, use a location-specific or genre-specific listing URL, or pass direct event URLs.

Does it handle pagination? Yes — when a listing page signals more pages (urlForNextPageOfEvents), the actor follows them automatically.

Can I scrape a specific artist's tour? Yes — pass the artist's event URLs directly, or use their artist page URL as a start URL.
