You will be responsible for ensuring they all receive the appropriate care, information and support required within a welcoming, healthy environment.  <strong>The team is working under 24/7 shift schedule environment which include the night shifts.</strong> </p>\n<p>This role provides the opportunity to make a real difference in our customers' lives, as you build trust, develop strong and lasting relationships, support housing and wellbeing needs and help to create a thriving, connected community at 139 Greys Avenue. </p>\n<p>A key part of the role is engaging effectively and connecting with the inter-disciplinary groups working within the 139 Greys Avenue complex, the on-site Lead Support Provider, wider Kāinga Ora groups and external stakeholders.  Single-Site Supported Housing is an innovative approach for Kāinga Ora, and cross-team collaboration is important for its success. </p>\n<p><strong>Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu - What you will bring</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>A track record of supporting customers who may have challenging housing and wellbeing needs, coupled with the ability to build enriching customer relationships. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Preferred experience in working rotating day and night shifts </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>You will be adept at recognising emerging situations, de-escalating highly emotional situations or conversations, and knowing when to escalate and request external support. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>You will have strong observational and analytical skills that can be applied to practical situations, with an aptitude for problem solving and understanding the reasons behind customer issues in an empathetic manner that is free of judgment. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>You will be experienced working with diverse cultures and/or community groups and be embracing of the diverse environment Te Mātāwai offers. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Speaking multiple languages including English would be an advantage but is not essential. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>First Aid certification and Safety Intervention or De-escalation certification is an advantage, but training will be provided. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Important to know</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>These roles are physically and mentally challenging.
