Scrape Shopee product IDs, shop IDs, product URLs, titles and images from Shopee's public sitemaps, and export the catalog to CSV, JSON or Excel. It is a Shopee listing URL scraper and catalog-discovery tool, not a price scraper: it returns no prices.
If you need a Shopee API alternative for product discovery (building URL lists, finding which listings exist, tracking new listings, researching how products are titled in a local market), this actor does that cheaply and reliably. If you need prices, ratings or sales numbers, read the next section before running it.
What this actor does NOT return
Shopee blocks anonymous access to its product JSON API and to its product pages. The only part of Shopee that is openly available without logging in is its public sitemap, and the sitemap contains identity data only. For that reason the actor does not return:
- Price (current price, price range, original price, discount)
- Rating or number of ratings
- Sold count (monthly or historical)
- Stock or variant availability
- Seller details (shop name, shop location, official or preferred seller status)
- Descriptions, specifications, categories, brands or reviews
Because of this, the old price, rating, seller and sorting options are not available. If you pass them in the input, the run stops immediately with a clear message instead of silently ignoring them. Nothing in the output is guessed or filled with placeholder values.
What data can you extract from Shopee?
Every dataset item is one product listing found in the sitemap of the selected market. All fields below are always filled.
| Field | Description | Example |
|---|---|---|
itemId | Shopee product ID | 48756493319 |
shopId | Shopee shop ID that owns the product | 5748731 |
url | Direct product URL | https://shopee.tw/...-i.5748731.48756493319 |
name | Product title as listed, in the local language | 【TOYSELECT】海綿寶寶...手機殼 |
image | Main product image URL | https://cf.shopee.tw/file/tw-11134207-... |
images | All image URLs listed in the sitemap for the product | array of URLs |
market | Market code | TW |
source | Always sitemap | sitemap |
lastModified | Last-modified time of the listing in Shopee's sitemap | 2026-10-06T23:50:02+08:00 |
scrapedAt | Time the record was collected (UTC) | 2026-10-08T09:46:52+00:00 |
The pair shopId + itemId is the unique key of a product. The actor de-duplicates on it.
How to scrape Shopee products
- Choose a Market (Taiwan
TWand SingaporeSGare verified). - Add Search terms written in the local language (for example
手機殼for Taiwan), or enter a numeric Shop ID, or paste a Shopee search or shop URL. - Set Maximum products. You pay per result, so this is also your cost cap.
- Click Start, then download the dataset as JSON, CSV, Excel or HTML, or read it through the Apify API.
Input
| Name | Type | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
searchTerms | array of strings | ["手機殼"] | Keywords matched against product titles from the sitemap. Write them in the market's language. |
startUrls | array of URLs | empty | A Shopee search URL (with a keyword parameter) or a /shop/<id> URL. The market is taken from the URL host. |
shopId | integer | empty | Numeric shop ID. Returns that shop's products found in the sitemap. |
region | string | TW | Market: TW, SG, ID, MY, PH, TH, VN, BR. Only TW and SG are verified. |
maxItems | integer | 100 | Maximum unique products, from 1 to 5,000. |
Example input:
{"searchTerms": ["手機殼", "耳機"],"region": "TW","maxItems": 500}
Output example
This is a real item from a run on the Taiwan market with the keyword 手機殼:
{"itemId": 48756493319,"shopId": 5748731,"url": "https://shopee.tw/%E3%80%90TOYSELECT%E3%80%91...-i.5748731.48756493319","name": "【TOYSELECT】海綿寶寶比奇堡居民們繞圈圈防摔透明SAMSUNG手機殼","image": "https://cf.shopee.tw/file/tw-11134207-820lg-ml60wekoms5kbf","images": ["https://cf.shopee.tw/file/tw-11134207-820lg-ml60wekoms5kbf"],"market": "TW","source": "sitemap","lastModified": "2026-10-06T23:50:02+08:00","scrapedAt": "2026-10-08T09:46:52.354929+00:00"}
Use cases
- Catalog discovery. Find which products exist for a keyword on a Shopee market, with their canonical product URLs and images.
- Building product URL lists. Collect thousands of product URLs and shop IDs to feed into your own workflows, spreadsheets or other tools that are allowed to open those pages.
- Monitoring new listings. Run the same keyword on a schedule and compare
itemIdvalues orlastModifiedtimestamps between runs to see which listings are new or recently changed. - Title and keyword research. Study how sellers word product titles in the local language: common modifiers, brand names, compatibility terms, bundle wording. This is useful for listing optimisation and market entry research.
- Shop footprint checks. Pass a
shopIdto see how many of a shop's products appear in the public index and what they are called. - Image collection for catalog matching. Use the image URLs to match your own SKUs against marketplace listings.
How much does it cost to scrape Shopee?
The actor uses pay-per-event pricing: you pay per result delivered to the dataset, and Apify platform usage is included. See the pricing box on this page for the current price per 1,000 results.
Worked examples (replace P with the price per 1,000 results shown on the page):
- 1,000 products = 1 x P
- 5,000 products (the per-run maximum) = 5 x P
- A daily monitoring run of 500 products for 30 days = 15,000 results = 15 x P
Runs that return nothing are not billed for results. Use maxItems to cap spend.
Understanding the output
A few notes on how to read the fields so you can use them safely in your own pipeline.
urlis the canonical product link taken from the sitemap, in the formhttps://shopee.<domain>/<slug>-i.<shopId>.<itemId>. The slug is the percent-encoded title, so for Chinese markets the link looks long but works as a normal link.nameis the title text from the sitemap image entry. When the sitemap has no image title, the actor falls back to the title slug in the URL.imageandimagespoint to Shopee's image CDN. The first image is the main one. Image links are stable identifiers, so they are handy for matching the same product across runs.lastModifiedis Shopee's own timestamp for the sitemap entry. It tells you when the listing was last touched in the index, not when it was created, and not when the price changed (the price is not available at all).itemIdandshopIdare numeric and stable. Store them as the key if you build a history of listings in your own database.
Comparing runs to find new listings
A simple monitoring recipe that needs no extra code on the Apify side:
- Run the actor on a schedule with a fixed keyword and a high enough
maxItems. - Export each dataset and keep the list of
shopId+itemIdpairs. - Subtract yesterday's list from today's. The remainder are listings that newly appeared in the index.
- Sort by
lastModifiedto see which existing listings were refreshed recently.
Because results come in sitemap order and not in relevance order, always compare by key, never by position.
Choosing keywords by market
| Market | Title language | Example keyword |
|---|---|---|
| TW | Traditional Chinese | 手機殼 (phone case) |
| SG | English, some Chinese | phone case |
| MY | Malay and English | sarung telefon |
| ID | Indonesian | casing hp |
| PH | English and Filipino | phone case |
| TH | Thai | เคสโทรศัพท์ |
| VN | Vietnamese | ốp lưng điện thoại |
| BR | Portuguese | capinha celular |
Only TW and SG are verified. The keywords for the other markets are suggestions based on the language of the market and have not been tested on live runs.
Tips for best results
- Use local-language keywords. Matching is done against product titles exactly as Shopee lists them. On shopee.tw the titles are in Traditional Chinese, so an English word such as
phone caseusually matches nothing. Use手機殼. Brand names that sellers write in Latin letters (for exampleiPhoneorSAMSUNG) do match. - Use short, common keywords. The match is a case-insensitive substring match on the title, so a short word returns more products than a long phrase.
- Combine several keywords in one run. Duplicates across keywords are removed.
- Set a realistic
maxItems. The actor reads the sitemap in order and stops once the limit is reached, so small limits finish fast. - Check one market first. TW and SG are verified. The other markets use the same sitemap layout but have not been verified, and a market may return an error or no matches.
Limits
- Only data in Shopee's public sitemap is available: IDs, URL, title, images and last-modified time. No prices, ratings, sales, stock or seller data. This is a limitation of what Shopee exposes publicly, not a setting you can change.
- The sitemap is an index, not the full live catalog. It may omit some products and may include products that are no longer available.
- Keyword matching works on titles in the local language only. There is no relevance ranking, so results come in sitemap order.
- Sorting and filtering by price, rating, seller type, discount or video are not possible.
- A single run reads the sitemap for a limited time, so very rare keywords may match nothing even if a few matching products exist deeper in the index.
- The actor does not read product pages, reviews or shop pages.
Use with AI agents (MCP)
This actor can be called by AI agents through the Apify MCP server. The parameters are few and documented. Example prompts:
- "Use the Shopee Product Catalog Scraper to list 200 Taiwan product URLs and titles for the keyword 手機殼 and return them as a table."
- "Run the Shopee Product Catalog Scraper for shop ID 5748731 on the TW market and tell me how many of its products appear and what they are called. Note that prices are not available."
FAQ
Does this actor return Shopee prices? No. Shopee blocks anonymous access to price data, and the sitemap does not contain it. The actor returns product IDs, shop IDs, URLs, titles and images only.
Is it legal to scrape Shopee sitemaps? The actor reads only Shopee's public sitemap files, which are published for search engines. Respect Shopee's terms of service and applicable data-protection law, and do not use the data to mislead or harm anyone. The output contains no personal data beyond numeric shop IDs.
Do I need proxies? No. The sitemap is fetched directly and you do not need to configure a proxy.
How fast is it? A run of a few hundred to a few thousand products typically finishes within a couple of minutes, because the actor streams the sitemap and stops at your limit.
Can I schedule it and monitor new listings?
Yes. Use Apify schedules to run it daily or weekly with the same keywords, and compare itemId and lastModified between runs.
Can I export to Google Sheets or Excel? Yes. Download the dataset as CSV or XLSX, or connect the dataset to Google Sheets with the Apify integration.
My search returned nothing. Why? The most common cause is an English keyword on a market whose titles are in another language. Try a short keyword in the local language. If a keyword is correct but the run still returns nothing, the sitemap may not contain a match within the time the run reads it.
Why do search URLs and shop URLs work if the page is blocked? Only the keyword or the shop ID is taken from the URL. The actor never opens the page itself.
Integrations
Run the actor from the Apify API or client libraries for JavaScript and Python, trigger webhooks when a run finishes, schedule runs, and connect results to Zapier, Make, n8n or Google Sheets. The dataset is available in JSON, CSV, XML, Excel and HTML.
