Arc Token Sell Test — can you actually sell it back?
Simulates a fresh wallet buying a token on Arc and selling everything straight back, in one read-only call. Returns a verdict, what one dollar comes back as, and the launch surface's record. Our own simulation, not an aggregate of other people's APIs.

Paste a token address from Arc (Circle's chain, id 5042). Get back whether a fresh wallet can sell it again, what one dollar comes back as, and what the launch surface has done to other buyers.
A token can trade all day, show volume and holders, and still be impossible for a new buyer to sell. Trading history cannot tell you that. Only a simulation from an address that has never touched the token can.
What makes this different from the other rug checkers here
It runs its own simulation. One read-only eth_call with state overrides, in
which a fresh wallet buys the token with USDC and sells everything straight back,
at two sizes. Nothing is broadcast, no wallet connects, nobody's funds move. The
other checkers on this store fuse third-party APIs — GoPlus, DexScreener,
Honeypot.is — and inherit whatever those get wrong.
It covers Arc, which they do not. Arc's mainnet opened on 16 September 2026 and makes tens of thousands of pools a day. We read the chain ourselves every two minutes and have sell-tested every token that has ever traded against USDC on it — more than 74,000 tests so far.
It publishes its own failure rate. Verdicts change: we have recorded 5,992 verdict flips on 1,774 tokens, 2,017 of them into a trap. The free scoreboard at honeycheck.xyz states how often we have been wrong, including the score bands that do not separate.
What you get per token
| Field | |
|---|---|
verdict | SELLABLE, TAXED, TRAP, BLOCKED, DISPUTED, UNBOUGHT or THIN |
meaning | the verdict in a sentence you can act on |
backPerDollar | what one USDC returns after buying and selling back. A clean 1% pool returns 0.9801 |
buyTax / sellTax | measured, not read off the contract |
liquidityGoneNow | nothing could be bought at the moment we looked |
liquidityEverPulled | any check we have run saw that — a live token can still be true here |
pool | kind, age, swaps, sells in the last 48 hours |
holders | count, what share the top ten hold, how long the median holder has held |
launchHook | what else this launch surface produced, and how much of it cannot be sold |
notMeasured | what is missing from this row, and why |
Three ways to use it
- Check tokens you already care about — paste the addresses.
The newest tokens that started trading on Arc— test launches before they reach any listing site. We read the chain, not a list. The most recent tokens a fresh wallet cannot sell— the traps, newest first.
What it does not do
- Arc only. Not Ethereum, Base, BNB or Solana; other Actors here cover those.
- A verdict is one moment. Whoever holds the keys can make a token unsellable after we measured it, which is why every row carries the time and why the launch surface's record sits beside the verdict.
- A missing figure is
nulland says why. Holder readings exist for the tokens our chain reader follows, which is a share of everything that trades; absent is never reported as zero. - Nothing here is financial advice. It is a measurement.
Billing
Charged per token tested. A token that could not be tested is not charged for: the answer is produced first and billed after.
