ThomasNet Supplier Scraper

Collects industrial supplier and manufacturer listings from ThomasNet, the North American supplier discovery platform. Search by product or service keyword, optionally narrowed to a US state, Canadian province, or ThomasNet sub-region, and get one flat record per company with contact details, location, size, and category information. Turning on full profiles adds certifications, brands, key personnel, and social links.

Input

Field	Default	Description
search_term	hydraulic cylinders	Product, service, or category keyword, e.g. cnc machining, injection molding.
location	(empty)	Optional US state, Canadian province, or sub-region, e.g. Texas, IL, Northern California, Metro New York. Empty searches all of North America.
max_results	25	Maximum supplier records to return (1–1000). Up to 25 suppliers are collected per coverage region; nationwide searches combine multiple regions to reach larger limits.
fetch_profiles	false	Also fetch each supplier's full company profile (certifications, brands, key personnel, social links). One extra request per supplier.
proxyConfiguration	Optional	Enable a US-based proxy for the most reliable results.

With fetch_profiles enabled, records also carry brands, personnel, social, and certification_totals (certification counts by type, e.g. ["QUALITY: 2"]), and certifications is filled in where the company publishes the titles.

• Runs with empty input (defaults to hydraulic cylinders, all of North America, 25 results).
• Enable a US-based proxy for the most reliable results.
