What does Google Jobs Scraper do?
It collects job postings from Google Jobs (Google for Jobs), where Google merges listings from LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, ZipRecruiter, Workday, Greenhouse, company career pages and many other boards. For each posting you get:
- Title, company, location and the source board (
via) - Salary when the posting has one, plus schedule type (full-time, contract, …) and when it was posted
- Full description and Google's job highlights (qualifications, responsibilities, benefits)
- Direct apply links for every board that carries the posting
- Google's stable
jobIdfor deduplication and a share link
Why use this Google Jobs scraper?
- Low price per job. It reads Google's job results through Apify's Google SERP proxy, which is included in the per-job price. No browser, no third-party API on top.
- More than 10 jobs per search. Google shows about 10 postings per search. With Get more than 10 jobs per search on, the scraper also runs close variants (remote, senior, full time, …) and merges unique jobs by
jobId. It stops once two variants in a row add almost nothing new, and duplicates are never charged. - Any country. Set
countryand put cities inlocations. - Honest failures. A search that fails after it already returned jobs keeps those jobs; the run fails only when every search failed and nothing was found.
Input

How much does it cost to scrape Google Jobs?
You pay per unique job in the dataset. Platform usage, including the Google SERP proxy, is included in the price.
| Plan | Price per 1,000 jobs |
|---|---|
| Free | $2.50 |
| Starter (Bronze) | $2.00 |
| Scale (Silver) | $1.80 |
| Business (Gold) | $1.50 |
Each run also charges $0.00005 for the start. Example: 500 jobs on the Starter plan cost $1.00. Duplicates are never pushed, failed searches cost nothing, and a maximum total charge on the run stops the scraper once the budget is used up.
Use Google Jobs data in Python
from apify_client import ApifyClientclient = ApifyClient("<YOUR_API_TOKEN>")run = client.actor("murmuring_headlamp/google-jobs-fast").call(run_input={"queries": ["data engineer"], "locations": ["Berlin"], "country": "de"})jobs = client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).list_items().items
Tips
- For broad coverage, list several cities in
locationsrather than raisingmaxItemsPerSearch. Each city returns its own set of postings. location: "Anywhere"marks remote postings.- Leave the default Google SERP proxy on. Through other proxies Google only returns a JavaScript placeholder page.
FAQ
Why not every job for a search in one go? Google loads further postings with JavaScript-only infinite scroll. Search variants and locations get you past the first 10 without a browser. Each run reports how many unique jobs it found.
The run says Google returned pages without job markup. Google changed its layout or served a placeholder; the pages are saved as DEBUG_*.html in the run's key-value store and the scraper is fixed from them. Nothing was charged for those searches.
Is it legal? Job postings are public business listings. The scraper doesn't log in and collects no candidate data. You're responsible for how you use the results.
