FAQ

How many projects can I get? Kickstarter shows up to about 2,400 projects per search and sort. To get more, use several search terms, categories or sort orders.

How fast is it? Usually about 100 projects in 43 seconds, and 1,000 projects in 6 to 9 minutes. The scraper paces its requests so Kickstarter doesn't block it. If Kickstarter asks it to slow down, it waits and tries again, so some runs take a few minutes longer.

Why are amounts in different currencies? pledged and goal are in the project's own currency. usdPledged is converted to US dollars.

Can I schedule it? Yes. Use an Apify schedule with "Newest" and "Live" to get new campaigns every day.

What if a page fails? The scraper retries several times. If a page still fails, it saves a free error row, and you are only charged for projects saved.

Is it legal? It only collects public project data. Use it in line with Kickstarter's terms and the privacy laws that apply to you.
