This actor is intentionally generic: instead of cloning one protected job board, it reads public job detail pages that expose Schema.org JobPosting JSON-LD or simple fallback job metadata. That makes it useful across UK job sites, employer career pages, public-sector job pages, and niche boards.

Output

Only complete, unique job records enter the paid dataset. Every saved job has a url, title, description, and hiringOrganization. Optional source fields include location, employmentType, datePosted, validThrough, salaryText, directApply, and raw JSON-LD. source and schemaFound distinguish structured markup from the supported NHS HTML fallback. The Actor does not invent missing salary or employer fields.

Export Results to CSV/JSON or connect the dataset to Google Sheets, warehouses, dashboards, or AI agents. Open Free scan and diagnostic summary in the output to inspect RUN_SUMMARY: inspected pages, sitemap fetches, duplicates skipped, incomplete jobs, and no-schema diagnostics. These are not paid result rows. A page without usable job data can produce zero results; this is explicitly reported as no-complete-job-postings, not a successful job extraction.

Request and sitemap failures fail the run visibly while preserving already saved jobs and the free summary. Scan limits report truncation. maxPages, maxSitemaps, maxResults, and maxScanSeconds bound the scan. XML sitemap indexes are supported; compressed sitemaps and browser-rendered or login-only content are not supported. Responses over 4 MB are rejected. Check whether the selected page still has an active listing before scaling an old saved example.

$4 per 1,000 complete extracted job rows ($0.004 each). Five saved jobs cost $0.02 in result charges. There is no separate inspected-page fee. Missing-schema diagnostics, failed requests, incomplete jobs, and duplicates are not written to the paid dataset and are not billed as results. For a first run, use one public job URL, maxPages: 1, and maxResults: 5. Inspect the Results fields and the free summary, then export CSV or JSON. Use includeNoSchemaRows: false for strict JSON-LD-only extraction; the legacy input name is retained for existing Tasks, but diagnostic rows now live only in RUN_SUMMARY.
