Website Technology Stack Detector
Detect evidence-backed website technologies from public headers, HTML, scripts, and linked assets. Built for sales engineering, vendor-displacement, market-mapping, and account-research teams.
Buyer question: Which technologies can I prove a target company currently exposes on its public website?
Start in 30 seconds
{"domainsOrUrls": ["https://apify.com","https://www.cloudflare.com","https://stripe.com"],"maxPagesPerDomain": 3}
Run the sample, inspect the Dataset and RUN_SUMMARY, then replace the domains or URLs. Save recurring workflows as Apify Tasks or call the Actor through API, webhooks, Make, n8n, Zapier, ChatGPT, Claude, or Neuton Actors MCP.
Output schema
Successful output includes domain, websiteUrl, technologies, categories, evidence, confidence, scrapedAt. Failed fetches, empty analyses, diagnostics, duplicates, baseline creation, unchanged checks, and unsupported inferences are never billed.
Buyer workflows
- Qualify target accounts by publicly evidenced CMS, analytics, CRM, payments, CDN, or support tooling
- Build vendor-displacement and partner-ecosystem account lists without unsupported stack guesses
- Compare technology adoption across companies, verticals, or portfolios
- Feed evidence markers into CRM, enrichment, agent, and RAG workflows
Pricing
Launch price: $20.00 per 1,000 complete evidence-backed technology analyses. A paid unit requires a non-empty detected stack and explicit public evidence markers.
Reliability and limitations
This 256 MB pure-HTTP Actor reads public HTML, response headers, scripts, and links. It does not bypass authentication, CAPTCHAs, paywalls, or private account areas. JavaScript-only pages may expose fewer signals. Evidence rules are intentionally conservative, and source failures produce no paid row.
Technology evidence comes from executable script URLs, relevant resource paths, framework attributes, and specific response headers. Documentation links, commented-out markup, inert template scripts, and keyword mentions are not installation evidence. A public marker indicates an exposed integration or resource, not proof of every tool installed by the company; no detected marker does not prove a technology is absent.
Responsible use
Use public website evidence for legitimate business research, recruiting, monitoring, and automation. Respect robots directives, site terms, privacy, rate limits, and applicable law. Verify contact data before outreach, maintain suppression controls, and do not infer sensitive traits or use outputs for spam or consequential automated decisions.
