FashionUnited Marketplace Scraper - Products & Prices

Export FashionUnited Marketplace products with brand names, prices and currencies, sizes, colors, images, materials, and supplier URLs. Use the data for assortment research, brand monitoring, product discovery, and spreadsheet analysis.

This independent FashionUnited product scraper reads the public structured catalog, follows pagination automatically, and removes duplicate product IDs. It does not launch a browser. You can collect up to 1,000 unique products per run.

Result-based pricing

The Actor fee is $2 per 1,000 successful product results ($0.002 per result). Apify platform usage is billed separately to the user. There is no Actor start fee.

Only unique results successfully saved to the dataset trigger the result billing event. Empty-search diagnostics do not trigger a result fee. For example, 10 results cost $0.02 in Actor fees; 1,000 results cost $2, plus platform usage. The Actor stops when it reaches your result-spending limit and reports budget_exhausted in OUTPUT. Platform usage is separate from that result fee limit.

What can you use the product data for?

• Price research: export the source price ranges and currencies for analysis. Compare like currencies; these are source-listed prices, not a guaranteed wholesale or retail quote.

Country selects the source's publication locale, not shipping availability. Catalog coverage varies; a supported regional site may have no products. Known country aliases such as USA, UK, and names containing underscores are accepted. Countries without a verified FashionUnited locale are rejected clearly.

Each successful row has status: "ok" and represents one product. Existing nested fields are preserved; convenient flat columns make CSV exports easier.

Missing source values remain null or empty arrays. Prices are preserved as decimal strings; the Actor does not convert currencies or infer retail/wholesale terms. Image URLs are returned without downloading images. FashionUnited exposes at most 280 images in the requested product image collection.

Empty results and errors

A valid empty search writes one diagnostic row with status: "no_results", the filters, and a message. It is not a product; filter exports by status == "ok" when combining runs.

The key-value store's OUTPUT record reports resultCount, requestedResults, pages, duplicatesSkipped, sourceExhausted, stopReason, HTTP request/retry counts, and duration. Source errors or malformed responses fail the run instead of masquerading as an empty search. If a later page fails, previously saved products remain available and OUTPUT reports partial_failure.

Transient network errors, HTTP 429, and server errors are retried at most twice per request, with a 25-second request timeout. Page sizes respect the source's query complexity limit. If legacy input requests Apify Proxy but the account/Actor cannot access it, the Actor reports a warning and uses direct requests. Invalid custom proxy settings fail clearly.

The $0.05 cap in this example limits result fees, not separate platform usage. For larger or recurring jobs, start an asynchronous run and retrieve its dataset after completion using the Apify API.

Do I need a FashionUnited login or a proxy?

No FashionUnited login is required. Direct requests are the default, so a proxy is normally unnecessary. You need an Apify account to run the Actor, and an Apify API token only when using the API.

How much does a run cost?

The Actor fee is $0.002 per successful result: 10 results cost $0.02, 100 cost $0.20, and 1,000 cost $2. Apify platform usage is additional and paid by the user. There is no Actor start fee. Empty-search diagnostics have no result fee.

Can I download product images or filter by brand?

The output contains image URLs; the Actor does not download image files. There is no separate brand filter. Use the product keyword when appropriate and filter the returned brandName values in your analysis.

Why can a US catalog contain euro prices or French titles?

Country selects a publication locale, not seller location, language guarantees, currency, or delivery area. The Actor preserves the source titles and price currencies. Use pricesWithCurrencies to inspect all available source currencies.

Why did I receive fewer results than requested?

The matching source inventory may be smaller than your limit, or the run may have reached its result-spending cap. Check OUTPUT for resultCount and stopReason. A valid empty search has status: "no_results"; a source failure is reported as an error.

This Actor depends on FashionUnited's public catalog and is not affiliated with FashionUnited. Source inventory, translations, search relevance, and optional fields can change. A regional catalog can include international suppliers.
