FashionUnited Jobs Scraper - Job Listings & Salaries
Scrape FashionUnited fashion jobs with employers, full descriptions, locations, application links, and published salary data. Filter by keyword, regional job board, city, or category. Export CSV, Excel, or JSON for recruiting research and job alerts. $2 per 1,000 results plus Apify usage.
Collect FashionUnited fashion jobs with full descriptions, employer details, locations, application links, categories, salary data, and publication dates. Use the results for job alerts, recruiting research, labor-market analysis, and employer monitoring.
The Actor queries the site's public structured job data, applies filters at the source, and follows pagination automatically. It returns up to 1,000 unique jobs per run, without launching a browser or visiting every job separately.
Result-based pricing
The Actor fee is $2 per 1,000 successful job results ($0.002 per result). Apify platform usage is billed separately to the user. There is no Actor start fee.
Only unique results successfully saved to the dataset trigger the result billing event. Empty-search diagnostics do not trigger a result fee. For example, 10 results cost $0.02 in Actor fees; 1,000 results cost $2, plus platform usage. The Actor stops when it reaches your result-spending limit and reports budget_exhausted in OUTPUT. Platform usage is separate from that result fee limit.
Quick start
- Choose a regional job board and optional keyword, city, or category.
- Set your result limit and run the Actor.
- Inspect the Dataset and export JSON, CSV, Excel, or another Apify format.
{"country": "United states","searchKeyword": "Designer","city": "New York","category": "all-categories","numberOfResults": 10}
For a broad search, leave searchKeyword and city empty.
What can you use the job data for?
- Fashion recruiting research: compare hiring activity by employer, category, and source location.
- Job-alert workflows: schedule a saved search, then compare job IDs against your previous dataset to find new listings.
- Labor-market research: analyze job titles, full descriptions, publication dates, and salary fields where employers publish them.
- Application shortlists: export source job URLs and application links for manual review. The Actor does not apply to jobs or collect candidate profiles.
Ready-to-run example tasks
Start with a tested 10-result configuration. Open an example, copy it to your account, and adjust the inputs:
- Find fashion design jobs in New York
- Find fashion retail jobs in London
- Find fashion internships on the German job board
Each example is a saved input preset. Live inventory can change, and fewer than 10 matches is possible.
Input
| Field | Default | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
searchKeyword | Empty | FashionUnited keyword search. The legacy job field is also accepted. |
country | United states | Regional job board/publication locale. Select a supported country in the form. |
city | Empty | Source location search, including accented or non-Latin names. |
category | All categories | One of the categories below; all-categories disables the filter. |
numberOfResults | 10 | Maximum unique jobs, from 1 to 1,000. Stops sooner if the source is exhausted. |
proxy | Direct connection | Optional custom or Apify Proxy settings. Normally unnecessary. |
Categories: design-and-creative, internships, other, product-and-supply-chain, retail-management-and-in-store, and sales-and-marketing.
Results are active source listings ordered by publication date, newest first. Country selects the publication locale, so a board may include international or remote roles. Location and keyword matching follow FashionUnited's own search behavior. Regional coverage varies; no matching jobs is a valid outcome.
Output
Each successful row has status: "ok" and represents one job. Existing field names are preserved.
| Fields | Content |
|---|---|
id, title, jobUrl | Stable source ID, title, and canonical job URL for the selected locale |
companyName, company, companyLogoUrl, companyImageUrl | Employer details and image links |
applyUrl, applyForm | External application URL when provided, and whether a source application form is used |
city, country, region, addressRegion, postalCode | Source location data |
categories, locales, active | Source classification, publication locales, and active flag |
salary, salaryRange | Structured salary amount, currency, and interval when published |
salaryInDescription | A heuristic currency amount/range found in the text; verify against the description, as benefits can also contain amounts |
descriptionText, descriptionHtml, teaser | Readable full content, original HTML content sections, and summary |
mergedProperties, profiles | Original content sections and associated company profiles |
publishedAt, expiresAt, insertedAt, updatedAt | Source dates |
searchUrl, searchKeyword, countryInput, cityInput, source, scrapedAt | Search context and provenance |
Absent values remain null or empty arrays. Salary data is not estimated. An empty applyUrl can be legitimate when applications use the site's own form. Descriptions preserve paragraph breaks and decode HTML entities. The Actor does not submit applications.
Example JSON output
Selected fields from a real successful run on September 16, 2026. This is an output excerpt; the full dataset includes the fields documented above. Live results will differ.
{"id": 1969620,"title": "Consultant, Store Design Architect","companyName": "Tiffany & Co.","city": "New York","country": "United States of America","jobUrl": "https://fashionunited.com/fashion-jobs/consultant-store-design-architect-new-york-1969620","applyUrl": "https://eljs.fa.us2.oraclecloud.com/hcmUI/CandidateExperience/en/sites/CX/job/63366","salaryRange": null,"publishedAt": "2026-09-16T05:21:12.077708Z","status": "ok"}
Empty results and errors
A valid empty search writes a diagnostic row with status: "no_results", filters, and a message. This is not a job record; filter by status == "ok" when combining runs.
The key-value store's OUTPUT record contains the actual job count, requested limit, pages, duplicates skipped, source exhaustion, request/retry counts, and duration. Network failures and invalid source responses fail the run. If a later page fails, earlier saved jobs remain available and OUTPUT reports partial_failure.
Requests have a 25-second timeout and at most two retries for transient errors, rate limits, or server errors. A legacy Apify Proxy request falls back to direct HTTP with a recorded warning if proxy access is unavailable. Invalid custom proxy settings fail clearly.
API, integrations, and AI agents
Use the API tab for ready-made JavaScript, Python, and cURL examples. The Actor identifier is newbs/Fashion-United-Job-Scraper. This is an independent scraper exposed through Apify's API, not an official FashionUnited API.
For a small request, set your Apify token in the APIFY_TOKEN environment variable and run:
curl --fail-with-body --request POST \'https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/newbs~Fashion-United-Job-Scraper/run-sync-get-dataset-items?format=json&clean=true&maxTotalChargeUsd=0.05' \--header "Authorization: Bearer $APIFY_TOKEN" \--header 'Content-Type: application/json' \--data '{"country":"United states","searchKeyword":"Designer","city":"New York","numberOfResults":10}'
The $0.05 cap in this example limits result fees, not separate platform usage. For larger or recurring jobs, start an asynchronous run and retrieve its dataset after completion using the Apify API.
| Workflow | How to use this Actor |
|---|---|
| Spreadsheets | Export CSV or Excel from Dataset; import into Excel or Google Sheets. |
| n8n, Make, or Zapier | Use the Apify integrations to run this Actor and pass its dataset to your next step. Authentication and workflow setup are required. |
| Scheduled snapshots | Save your inputs as a task, then create a schedule in Apify Console. Compare id values across runs in your own storage. |
| Notifications and downstream processing | Configure a run-success webhook or an Actor integration after you choose a destination. |
| AI research assistants | Add this Actor through the Apify MCP server, using its exact Actor identifier above. Review the returned source links and optional fields. |
Results are deduplicated within each run. Scheduled runs can return the same record again and charge for the newly saved result. No third-party workflow or notification is enabled automatically.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a FashionUnited login or a proxy?
No FashionUnited login is required. Direct requests are the default, so a proxy is normally unnecessary. You need an Apify account to run the Actor, and an Apify API token only when using the API.
How much does a run cost?
The Actor fee is $0.002 per successful result: 10 results cost $0.02, 100 cost $0.20, and 1,000 cost $2. Apify platform usage is additional and paid by the user. There is no Actor start fee. Empty-search diagnostics have no result fee.
Does every job include salary data and an application URL?
No. Salary fields are null when the source does not supply them. salaryInDescription is a text-extraction heuristic, not an estimate. An empty applyUrl can mean the job uses FashionUnited's own application form; open jobUrl to check.
Can I search for remote jobs or specific employers?
Use a relevant search keyword and inspect the returned employer, location, and description. There is no dedicated remote-only or employer filter, so keyword matches do not guarantee either condition.
Why did I receive fewer results than requested?
The matching source inventory may be smaller than your limit, or the run may have reached its result-spending cap. Check OUTPUT for resultCount and stopReason. A valid empty search has status: "no_results"; a source failure is reported as an error.
Limitations and support
This independent Actor is not affiliated with FashionUnited. Source availability, regional coverage, and optional fields can change. An active listing can still be withdrawn or filled after scraping; check its job page before relying on it.
Report issues through the Actor's Issues tab with a run URL, non-sensitive input, and the OUTPUT summary. Include the country and filters that reproduce the problem.
