📊 What you get

Clean JSON output (7 fields per organic result):

• query — the search query that produced the row
• position — 1-based rank within that query's organic results
• title — result heading
• url — destination URL (Google redirect wrappers are resolved)
• domain — hostname of url
• description — result snippet
• type — always organic_result

Pricing: $0.020 per result (Pay-Per-Event) — about 50 results per $1. Plus $0.00005 per actor start. You are charged per row written to the dataset, and rows are only written when Google actually returned them.

🧭 Input

• queries (required) — one or more search terms. Each is fetched separately. If you leave it empty the run succeeds with 0 rows and a message naming the field; nothing is charged.
• maxResults — 1-100 results per query (default 10).
• country — US, UK, CA, AU, DE, FR, JP, BR, IN, MX. Selects the Google domain and the proxy exit country.
• language — hl language code (default en).

🔒 How results are fetched, and what happens when Google blocks

Google serves a JavaScript bot wall — HTTP 200 with no organic results — to unproxied datacenter IPs (verified live on 2026-09-05 across several user agents and URL variants). This actor therefore fetches through Apify's GOOGLE_SERP proxy group and falls back to fresh RESIDENTIAL proxy sessions, up to 4 attempts per query with a new session each time.

Behaviour you can rely on:

• Blocked on every attempt → the run FAILS with a status message naming the cause. No rows, no charges. It never invents placeholder results.
• Google answered with "did not match any documents" → the run SUCCEEDS with 0 rows and a message saying the search genuinely matched nothing. Nothing is charged.
• Some queries blocked, some fine → you get the rows that were really returned, and the status message says how many queries were skipped.
• Run time limit reached → the actor stops cleanly and reports "stopped early at the run time limit". Only delivered rows are charged.
• Diagnostics are written to the OUTPUT key-value record, never as dataset rows.
