Limits and notes

• legalPopulation2011 appears only if the Istat file carries that column: the current file (checked 29/10/2026) no longer does. Use Istat demographic statistics for population.
• Istat reorganises municipalities often (mergers, Sardinia reform from 2026). The Actor reads the file at every run, so it follows the latest published list; if the layout changes, it stops with a clear error.
• Historical codes of suppressed municipalities are not part of this list.

• L'Istat aggiorna spesso i comuni (fusioni, riforma della Sardegna dal 2026). L'Actor legge il file a ogni esecuzione e segue l'ultimo elenco pubblicato; se il tracciato cambia, si ferma con un errore chiaro.
• I codici storici dei comuni soppressi non fanno parte di questo elenco.
