Workday Jobs Scraper – Fortune 500 Careers Sites (NVIDIA, Adobe, Salesforce...)
Workday Jobs Scraper extracts job postings from any company careers site that runs on Workday (*.myworkdayjobs.com) – the ATS used by a large share of Fortune 500 employers such as NVIDIA, Adobe, Salesforce and Dell. Paste a careers URL, optionally add a keyword search, and get job title, location, posted date, requisition ID, remote flag, employment type, full job description and the direct job/apply URL – exported to JSON, CSV, Excel or Google Sheets. It reads the careers site's own public JSON API, so there is no API key, no login and no proxy cost.
Built for recruiters and sourcers tracking large enterprises, job-board and aggregator builders, HR and labor-market analysts, and B2B sales teams that use enterprise hiring as a buying signal.
What data can you extract?
| Field | Example | Description |
|---|---|---|
company | nvidia | Workday tenant (company) from the careers URL |
title | Software Engineer, SPE | Job title |
url | https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite/job/... | Public job page with the apply button |
location | Israel, Yokneam | Location as shown on the careers site |
posted_on | Posted 30+ Days Ago | Posting age as shown by Workday (Posted Today, Posted 3 Days Ago, ...) |
req_id | JR2015623 | Job requisition ID (stable, good for deduplication) |
remote | false | true if the location mentions remote |
time_type | Full time | Full time / part time (with full descriptions enabled) |
description | NVIDIA Networking System Product Engineering group is looking for... | Full job description as plain text, up to 6,000 chars (with full descriptions enabled) |
locations_count | null | Reserved field, currently always empty |
scraped_at | 2026-10-15T18:08:47+00:00 | Extraction timestamp (UTC) |
How to use the Workday Jobs Scraper
- Open the company's careers site and copy its URL, e.g.
https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/en-US/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite. Add one URL per company to Career site URLs. - Optionally enter a search text (e.g.
software engineer) to get only matching jobs, enable Include full description, and set Max jobs per company. Click Start. - Download the jobs as JSON, CSV or Excel, or send them to Google Sheets, Make, Zapier, n8n or your app via the API. Schedule it daily to catch new openings.
Example input:
{"careerUrls": ["https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/en-US/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite"],"searchText": "software engineer","includeDescription": true,"maxJobsPerCompany": 200}
How to recognize a Workday careers site: the address contains myworkdayjobs.com (or myworkdaysite.com), usually in the form https://<company>.wd<N>.myworkdayjobs.com/<language>/<SiteName>. If a company's own careers page links to such an address when you click a job, paste that link.
Output example
Real output from a test run with searchText: "software engineer" and full descriptions (shortened):
[{"company": "nvidia","title": "Software Engineer, SPE","url": "https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite/job/Israel-Yokneam/Software-Engineer--SPE_JR2015623","location": "Israel, Yokneam","locations_count": null,"posted_on": "Posted 30+ Days Ago","time_type": "Full time","req_id": "JR2015623","remote": false,"description": "NVIDIA Networking System Product Engineering group is looking for an excellent Software Engineer. The position requires an understanding of HW and SW...","scraped_at": "2026-10-15T18:08:47.113760+00:00"},{"company": "nvidia","title": "Technical Product Manager - CPU Hardware Program","url": "https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite/job/US-CA-Santa-Clara/Technical-Product-Manager---CPU-Hardware-Program_JR2027361","location": "US, CA, Santa Clara","locations_count": null,"posted_on": "Posted Today","time_type": "","req_id": "JR2027361","remote": false,"description": "","scraped_at": "2026-10-15T18:08:18.839082+00:00"}]
Without full descriptions, time_type and description stay empty and the run is much faster (the default input finishes in about 5 seconds).
Pricing
This actor uses pay-per-event pricing – you pay only for jobs saved to the dataset:
- $0.001 per job = $1.00 per 1,000 jobs
- $0.00005 per actor start (per GB of memory, practically free)
No proxies or paid APIs are involved, so there are no extra costs. Full descriptions don't cost extra per job – they only make the run slower.
| Scenario | Jobs | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Default run (NVIDIA, 200 jobs) | 200 | ≈ $0.20 |
| 10 companies, keyword "data engineer" | ~300 | ≈ $0.30 |
| 25 companies | ~1,000 | ≈ $1.00 |
| 20 companies checked daily for 30 days (~800 jobs/day) | ~24,000 | ≈ $24.00 |
Use Max jobs per company, a search text and Apify's maximum cost per run setting to keep spending predictable.
Use cases
- Enterprise recruiting & sourcing – watch the careers sites of Fortune 500 companies and react the day a matching role opens.
- Job boards & aggregators – add big-brand jobs with direct links to your board.
- Sales prospecting on hiring signals – an enterprise hiring cloud, security or data roles is investing in that area; feed new postings into your CRM.
- Competitor & labor-market intelligence – track which roles and locations large companies are hiring for.
- Staffing agencies – spot new requisitions (
req_id) at target accounts quickly. - AI and RAG pipelines – plain-text descriptions are ready for LLM classification and embeddings.
Integrations and API
Run the Workday scraper via the Apify API, CLI or integrations: Make, Zapier, n8n, Google Sheets, Slack, Airbyte or webhooks. Combine a daily schedule with a webhook to push new postings into your database, CRM or ATS.
Python example with the official apify-client:
from apify_client import ApifyClientclient = ApifyClient("<YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN>")run = client.actor("ninhothedev/workday-jobs-scraper").call(run_input={"careerUrls": ["https://nvidia.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/en-US/NVIDIAExternalCareerSite"],"searchText": "data engineer","includeDescription": True,})for job in client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).iterate_items():print(job["company"], job["title"], job["location"], job["req_id"], job["url"])
FAQ
Is it legal to scrape Workday job postings? The actor reads only job postings that employers publish openly on their public careers sites, via the same JSON API the site uses in your browser. No login is used and no candidate data is accessed. Check your local laws and intended use.
Which companies are supported?
Any company whose careers site runs on myworkdayjobs.com or myworkdaysite.com. Custom careers domains that don't redirect to Workday are not supported.
Do I need proxies or an API key? No. The careers-site API is public and works without proxies.
Why is posted_on text instead of a date?
Workday's careers sites show the posting age as text (Posted Today, Posted 30+ Days Ago); the actor returns it as published.
How do I get only relevant jobs? Use Search text – it uses Workday's own search, so you receive matching jobs only and pay only for those.
Can I schedule it?
Yes – create an Apify Schedule (e.g. daily) and compare req_id values between runs to find new postings.
Something does not work? Open an issue on the actor's Issues tab with the run ID and the careers URL – we usually respond within a day.
