Vigia SERP Rank Delta

Track your Google keyword rankings — pay only for what changed.

Give Vigia your keywords and your domain(s), and get only meaningful ranking moves: improved, declined, new entries into the results, and drop-outs. It never scrapes Google itself — it chains onto Apify's licensed Google Search Results Scraper for the raw fetch, so there's no fragile anti-bot scraper to break.

Why choose Vigia

  • Only rank changes, only charged for changes, at $0.008 — most rank trackers bill every keyword check whether your position moved or not (competitors charge $0.0039–$0.02 per check, every single run). Vigia's baseline run and unchanged keywords are free.
  • "Best rank ever" intelligence — in monitor mode Vigia remembers each keyword's historical best/worst position and flags at_best_rank_ever. Know when you've hit a genuine new high, not noise.
  • Move magnitude — every rank change is tagged minor / moderate / major.
  • Aggregate visibility signal — each run returns a rank_signal: how many improved/declined, average position change, biggest mover, how many changed keywords now sit in the top 10.
  • No fragile scraping — chains onto a licensed, maintained SERP actor instead of a homegrown Google scraper that breaks under CAPTCHA/anti-bot.
  • Fair pricing — hard maxTotalChargeUsd cap on Vigia's own charge; never billed without a result.

Input

  • keywords — search queries to track, e.g. ["running shoes", "best running shoes 2026"]
  • trackedDomains — your domain(s), e.g. ["shop.example"]
  • countryCode / languageCode — search locale, default us / en
  • monitorEnabled — first run stores a free baseline; later runs deliver only changes.
  • monitorId — optional name to keep separate keyword sets independent.
  • maxTotalChargeUsd — hard spend cap for Vigia's own rank-change charge.

You can also pass your own currentResults (organic results array) if you bring your own SERP data.

Output

One row per change: change_type (new_entry / improved / declined / dropped_out), keyword, domain, position, previous_position, position_change, magnitude, at_best_rank_ever, url. Plus a RUN_SUMMARY.json with the aggregate rank_signal.

Notes

  • You will see two charges on your Apify invoice for each run: Apify's own Google Search Results Scraper bills ~$0.0018 per keyword checked (charged directly by Apify, not by Vigia, whether or not anything changed), and Vigia charges $0.008 only for the keywords whose rank actually changed. This is normal and expected — Vigia does not mark up or resell the scraper's cost.
  • Rank/position changes are charged after delivery; baseline and unchanged keywords are free of Vigia's own fee.
  • The chained scraper call has a 3-minute timeout; if it fails or times out, the run still completes successfully with a source_errors entry instead of crashing or charging you.
