🚀 How to use it (3 simple steps)

1. Pick a category — for example Plumbing or Roofing. You can pick several.
2. Pick a place — the easy way: select one or more US states. Or type up to 10 ZIP codes instead.
3. Press Start — when the run finishes, open the Storage tab and download your file (Excel, CSV or JSON).

📞 Need phone numbers and websites? Switch "Also get phone number & website" ON before starting. The run takes a bit longer, but every lead comes with contact details.

⚙️ Settings explained (in plain English)

Setting	What it does
What type of business?	The service categories you want (Plumbing, Roofing...). Pick at least one.
Search whole states	Select states to cover them completely. Overrides ZIP codes.
...or specific ZIP codes	Search only these areas (max 10 ZIPs). Used when no state is picked.
Maximum number of results	The scraper stops after this many businesses. Controls your cost.
Also get phone number & website?	ON = leads come with contact details (slower).
Skip businesses without contact details	ON = only businesses that advertise phone + website. Fewer but better leads, cheaper run.
Speed / Proxy	Advanced. Just leave the defaults.

💰 How much does it cost?

Pricing starts at $5.00 per 1,000 results. Use Maximum number of results to cap your spend — if you set it to 500, you will never pay for more than 500 businesses.

❓ FAQ

Do I need a proxy? No. Leave the proxy setting on "None" — it works best that way.

Why are phone and website empty? Turn ON "Also get phone number & website" and run again.

Can I scrape a whole state? Yes — just select it in Search whole states. The scraper automatically covers all areas of the state and removes duplicates.

Why only 10 ZIP codes? That is a HomeAdvisor limit per search. Need more coverage? Use the state option instead.

Is this legal? The scraper only collects publicly visible business information (the same things you see in your browser). You are responsible for using the data in line with applicable laws and HomeAdvisor's terms.
