Goldin Auction Scraper

Goldin Auction Scraper extracts live bids, sold prices and lot details from Goldin, the auction house for trading cards and collectibles, and returns them as clean JSON, CSV or Excel.

Pull every active Goldin lot or years of sold results, filter by Weekly, Elite, Thematic or Buy Now tier, sport, item type, grading company, keyword, price and sold date, and get the grade, bid count, buyer's premium total and images on every row.

Use the Apify Actor "parsebird/goldin-auction-scraper" (call it via ApifyClient) to scrape Goldin (goldin.co) auction lots. Example (JavaScript): const { ApifyClient } = require('apify-client'); const client = new ApifyClient({ token: '<APIFY_TOKEN>' }); const run = await client.actor('parsebird/goldin-auction-scraper').call({ mode: 'past_auctions', auctionTier: 'Elite', grader: 'PSA', sport: 'Baseball', soldAfter: '2025-01-01', maxItems: 500 }); const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems(); Inputs (all optional): mode (string, default "marketplace"; "marketplace" = active auction lots + Buy Now listings, "past_auctions" = sold lots, "lot" = specific lots), lotUrls (array of goldin.co/item/<slug> URLs, slugs or lot IDs; used when mode="lot"), maxItems (integer, default 10, 0 = no cap), auctionTier (string, default "All"; All/Weekly/Elite/Thematic/Fixed_Price), sport (string, Goldin sub-category such as Baseball, Basketball, Pokemon; case-insensitive), itemType (string, e.g. "Single Cards"), grader (string, default "Any"; Any/PSA/Beckett/SGC/CGC/TAG/Ungraded/Other), keyword (string), priceMin and priceMax (integer USD, 0 = no limit), soldAfter and soldBefore (YYYY-MM-DD, past_auctions only), sortBy (string; ending_soonest, most_recent_sold, highest_price, lowest_price, most_bids, least_bids, newest, lot_number), includeLotDetails (boolean, default false). Each output row is one lot: lot_id, lot_url, lot_number, auction_id, auction_name, auction_type, auction_start_date, auction_end_date, title, category, subcategory, item_type, grader, grade, grade_numeric, cert_number, serial_number, listing_status (Live/Preview/Completed_Sold), current_price, final_price, min_bid_price, bid_count, reserve_amount, reserve_met, buyers_premium_pct, final_price_with_premium, allow_offers, currency, sold_at, view_count, description, image_urls (pipe-separated), primary_image_url, video_urls. What is Goldin Auction Scraper?

Goldin Auction Scraper is an Apify Actor that collects auction data from Goldin: sports cards, Pokémon and other TCG cards, game-used memorabilia, comics, coins, video games and movie props. You don't need a Goldin account, an API key or a browser. Pick a mode, click Start, and download the results.

It works as a Goldin API alternative for three jobs:

  • Active lots: every lot open for bidding in Goldin's Weekly, Elite and Thematic auctions, plus fixed-price Buy Now listings, with the current bid and bid count.
  • Past auctions (sold comps): Goldin's sold results with the hammer price, sale time and the price including buyer's premium, filtered by sold date.
  • Lot URLs: the full record for specific lots, including category, certificate number, description, every image and lot videos.

What can Goldin Auction Scraper do?

  • 🔨 Live and sold data: active lots with current bids, or sold lots going back to Goldin's 2012 auctions.
  • 🎯 Goldin's own filters: auction tier, sport / sub-category, item type, grading company, keyword and price range all run on Goldin's search, so you only pay for lots that match.
  • 📅 Sold-date windows: get every sold lot between two dates, for example all PSA basketball cards sold in March 2025.
  • 🏷️ Grades parsed from the title: grader (PSA, Beckett, SGC, CGC, TAG, NGC, PCGS and more), grade label (PSA 10, BGS 9.5, NGC MS67+) and a numeric grade for sorting.
  • 💵 Buyer's premium included: final_price_with_premium uses the same rule goldin.co applies on its lot pages, so you can compare what buyers actually paid.
  • 🔁 Complete results: large result sets are collected in smaller slices so lots are not skipped or duplicated between pages.
  • 🔍 Forgiving keyword search: if a pasted card title with grading or serial text (PSA GEM MT 10, #/99) finds nothing, the run retries once without that text.
  • ⏱️ Platform features: schedule daily runs, call the Actor through the Apify API, get webhooks when a run finishes, and connect it to Make, Zapier, n8n, Google Sheets, Slack and more. Export as JSON, CSV, Excel, XML or HTML.

Python

from apify_client import ApifyClient
client = ApifyClient("<APIFY_TOKEN>")
run = client.actor("parsebird/goldin-auction-scraper").call(run_input={
"mode": "past_auctions",
"keyword": "1986 Fleer Michael Jordan",

"maxItems": 200,
})
for lot in client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).iterate_items():
print(lot["sold_at"][:10], lot["grade"], lot["final_price_with_premium"], lot["title"])

JavaScript

import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';
const client = new ApifyClient({ token: '<APIFY_TOKEN>' });
const run = await client.actor('parsebird/goldin-auction-scraper').call({
mode: 'marketplace',
sport: 'Pokemon',
sortBy: 'ending_soonest',
maxItems: 50,
});
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
items.forEach((lot) => console.log(lot.auction_end_date, lot.current_price, lot.bid_count, lot.title));

Use cases

  • Sold comps for pricing: pull every sale of a card at a given grade to price your own copy or a consignment.
  • Collectibles market research: track how PSA 10 prices move across Weekly and Elite auctions month by month.
  • Bid monitoring: schedule a run on lots ending soon and get alerts in Slack or email when bids jump.
  • Inventory and deal sourcing: find Buy Now listings or low-bid lots under a price ceiling in your category.
  • Datasets for analysis: load sold results into Google Sheets, BigQuery or a BI tool and compare them with eBay or PriceCharting data.

How it works

  1. The Actor sends your filters (tier, sport, item type, grader, keyword, price) to the search that powers goldin.co, so filtering happens on Goldin's side.
  2. Active lots are collected in price slices of up to 1,000 lots each. Goldin's page order shuffles lots with equal values between pages, so this avoids skipped and repeated lots. Results are then sorted by your sortBy.
  3. Past auctions are collected auction by auction, newest first, using Goldin's list of completed auctions, and Buy Now sales are merged in by sale time. A sold-date window only opens the auctions that ran in that window.
  4. Grades are parsed from the lot title, the buyer's premium total is calculated, and image URLs are built for Goldin's image CDN.
  5. With Include full lot details (or in lot mode), each lot's page data is fetched for category, certificate number, description, every image and videos.

How much does it cost to scrape Goldin?

Goldin Auction Scraper uses pay-per-event pricing. You pay per lot saved to the dataset, and platform usage (compute and data transfer) is included in that price.

PlanPrice per lotPrice per 1,000 lots
Free$0.00119$1.19
Bronze$0.00109$1.09
Silver$0.00099$0.99
Gold$0.00089$0.89

On October 17, 2026, a full run of every active lot (maxItems: 0) saved 5,163 lots (5,010 auction lots and 153 Buy Now listings). That costs about $6.14 on the Free plan and $4.60 on Gold. A run of the 500 most recent Elite PSA sales costs about $0.60 on the Free plan. Turning on full lot details doesn't change the price per lot. To control spend, add filters or set maxItems. The run also stops at the maximum cost per run you set in Apify Console.

This Actor only reads lot information that Goldin shows publicly on goldin.co, without logging in or bidding. Scraping publicly available data is generally legal, but you are responsible for how you use it and for following Goldin's terms of use, especially if you republish lot photos or descriptions. If you aren't sure, consult a lawyer. Read more on the Apify blog about web scraping legality.

This Actor is unofficial and isn't affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Goldin.

FAQ

Does it include unsold lots? No. Goldin's public past-auction results only list lots that sold, so past_auctions returns Completed_Sold lots. Lots that passed without a sale are not available.

Is current_price the hammer price or the total price? For sold auction lots, current_price is the hammer price before buyer's premium. final_price_with_premium adds the premium the way goldin.co calculates it: for lots that closed after June 22, 2024, the listed premium (22% at the time of writing) with a $19 minimum, and for earlier lots the listed premium (20% by default). For Buy Now listings it adds the premium percentage Goldin lists on the listing, which is often 0.

Which auction tiers are there? Goldin's data uses Weekly, Elite, Thematic (themed sales such as movie props, coins or Pokémon events) and Fixed_Price for Buy Now. A Thematic auction can contain lots tagged as Weekly or Elite, and the tier filter follows the tag on each lot.

Why is grade empty for some lots? Grades are read from the lot title, and memorabilia, sealed products and autograph-only items often have none. When you filter by grader, matching lots always get that grader even if the title doesn't name it. With full lot details, Goldin's own grading company field fills grader when the title has no grade.

How far back do past auctions go? Goldin lists auctions back to 2012. Older lots often have fewer filled-in fields (for example no sub-category), so sport and item type filters can miss them.

Why did my run stop with a list of sub-categories? The sport or itemType value didn't match any of Goldin's names for your other filters. Pick one from the list in the log. Matching ignores upper and lower case.

Can I get the data through an API? Yes. Use the API tab or the Python and JavaScript examples above. You can also run it from Make, Zapier or n8n.

Something is missing or broken? Open an issue on the Issues tab.
