Bithumb Korea Market Tickers Scraper
Scrape real-time Bithumb Korea market tickers for any KRW coin pair, sorted by volume, change, or price. Every ticker returns the last price, 24h change rate, trade value, and high/low. Export to CSV, JSON, Excel, or XML.
Bithumb's web pages are built for traders, not for bulk data collection. This actor reads the public market ticker endpoint directly and returns a clean, flat dataset of KRW market pairs. Filter by specific coin symbols like BTC or XRP, sort by 24h trade value or price change, and limit how many rows you pull per run.
| Who uses it | What they scrape Bithumb for |
|---|---|
| Crypto quant traders | Feed Bithumb price and volume data into a backtesting engine or arbitrage model. |
| Market analysts | Track which Korean won pairs are moving the most volume in the last 24 hours. |
| Kimchi premium watchers | Pull Bithumb's side of the price gap to compare against global exchanges. |
| Portfolio trackers | Update a dashboard with the latest KRW closing prices for a watchlist of coins. |
What it does
This Actor collects Bithumb Korea KRW market tickers and returns each one as a flat row with price, volume, and 24h change data.
- π Symbol filtering: request only the coins you care about, or leave empty to pull every KRW market.
- π Flexible sorting: order by 24h trade value, 24h change rate, last price, or alphabetically by symbol.
- π’ Row limit: set a hard cap on how many tickers the run returns, from 1 up to 1,000,000.
Results export to CSV, JSON, Excel, or XML, or straight from the API.
What you can do with Bithumb data
π°π· Build a kimchi premium monitor.
A quant pulls Bithumb KRW prices for BTC and ETH, joins them with Binance USD prices, and calculates the premium gap every 60 seconds.
π Rank the hottest KRW markets.
A trader runs the actor sorted by 24h trade value to see which altcoins are seeing a volume spike on Bithumb right now.
π Filter a watchlist of specific coins.
A portfolio manager passes a symbol list of 20 coins and gets back only those tickers, sorted by 24h change rate.
π¦ Feed a data pipeline.
A data engineer schedules the actor hourly, writes the flat CSV to cloud storage, and a downstream model consumes the latest Bithumb state.
Why choose this scraper
| What you get | |
|---|---|
| No API key needed | Reads the same public endpoint the Bithumb web app uses, no registration required. |
| Flat, predictable schema | Every row has the same columns. No nested JSON to unpack before analysis. |
| KRW market focus | Returns only Korean won pairs, which is where the kimchi premium lives. |
| Sort before you scrape | Order by volume or change so the most important tickers arrive first. |
How it compares
This actor focuses on raw Bithumb KRW ticker collection with sorting and symbol filtering. The competitors below add kimchi premium calculation and multi-exchange data, which this actor leaves for you to compute or combine.

Configure the run
Drive the Actor with an optional list of coin symbols, a sort order, and a maximum row count. Filters run server-side so only the tickers you want land in your dataset. The Input tab lists every parameter.
A first run with the defaults:
{"symbols": [],"maxItems": 10}
A larger pull:
{"symbols": [],"maxItems": 200}

Troubleshooting
Why am I getting an empty dataset?
Check your symbols filter. If you typed a symbol that does not exist on Bithumb or is not a KRW pair, no rows will match. Try running without any symbol filter first to see all available markets.
Why are the prices slightly different from the Bithumb website?
The actor reads a single snapshot from the public API. The website may update more frequently or show a mid-price. The data is accurate for the moment it was collected.
I set max items to 100 but only got 80 rows.
Bithumb lists a finite number of KRW markets. If there are only 80 pairs available at that moment, the actor returns all 80. It will never fabricate rows to hit your limit.
Can I get the order book depth with this actor?
No. This actor returns the ticker summary only: last price, 24h change, volume, high, and low. Order book snapshots would need a different endpoint.
The run timed out.
Bithumb's public API is generally fast. A timeout usually means a temporary network issue. Retry the run. If it persists, increase the run timeout in your Apify actor settings.
FAQ
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| Does this actor need a Bithumb API key? | No. It reads the same public market data endpoint that the Bithumb website uses, so no account or key is required. |
| What markets does it return? | It returns only KRW (Korean won) markets. BTC, ETH, XRP, and every other coin with a KRW pair on Bithumb is included. |
| Can I get USD or BTC markets? | No. This actor is built for KRW markets only. If you need BTC-denominated pairs, a different endpoint would be required. |
| How fresh is the data? | The actor hits Bithumb's live public ticker endpoint on every run, so you get the current state at the moment of collection. |
| Can I filter to only a few coins? | Yes. Use the symbols input field to pass a list like BTC, ETH, XRP. Leave it empty to return every KRW market. |
| What does the sort order do? | It tells the actor which field to order by before applying the max items limit. Sort by 24h trade value to get the highest-volume pairs first. |
| How many tickers can I pull in one run? | You set the maximum. The input accepts any number from 1 to 1,000,000. The actual count depends on how many KRW pairs Bithumb lists at that moment. |
| Does this actor calculate the kimchi premium? | No. It gives you the Bithumb side of the price. You need to combine it with a global exchange price yourself to compute the premium. |
| What export formats are supported? | The dataset can be exported to CSV, JSON, Excel, or XML from the Apify platform after the run finishes. |
| Can I schedule this to run every minute? | Yes. Apify's scheduler supports cron expressions, so you can run it as often as you need for near-real-time ticker collection. |
