CV-Library UK Jobs Scraper
Scrape CV-Library UK job listings by keyword, location and distance, up to 10,000 jobs per search. Every job comes with its title, company, location with map coordinates, salary range and period, contract type, posted date, full description, job page and apply link. No login or API key. Export to CSV, JSON, Excel, or XML.
CV-Library's official API needs registration and rate-limits you. This Actor reads the same search data the CV-Library website uses, filtered exactly as on the site, and returns each job in one fixed schema. It is the fastest way to get UK job market data into your spreadsheet or database.
| Who uses it | What they scrape CV-Library for |
|---|---|
| Market researchers | Which skills and job titles are in demand across UK regions this week |
| Recruitment agencies | Monitor competitor job postings and salary benchmarks |
| Job boards and aggregators | Build a live feed of CV-Library listings for your own site |
| Data analysts | Collect structured job data for labour market analysis |
| Job seekers | Track new openings matching their criteria without manual searching |
What it does
This Actor searches CV-Library by keyword and location and returns each job as a flat row.
- π Keyword search: any job title, skill or company, like 'developer' or 'nurse'.
- π Location and distance: a UK town, city, county or postcode, such as 'London', 'Leeds' or 'M1 1AE', within 1 to 100 miles. Leave it empty to search the whole UK.
- π Filters: contract type (permanent, contract, temporary) and sort order (relevance, newest first, distance).
- π Full description: each job is opened to add the full description, the apply link and the contract length. Turn
fetchDetailsoff for a faster run with the search snippet only. - π· Structured salary: minimum, maximum, currency and period (hour, day, month, year), plus CV-Library's annualised figures.
- π Multiple export formats: CSV, JSON, Excel, or XML.

Then prompt it in plain language to run the scraper and read back the results.
Troubleshooting
Why am I getting no results?
Check the keyword and the location. CV-Library only knows UK places. Try a broader keyword, a larger radius, or leave the location empty. When nothing matches, the dataset gets one row with an error message, and that row is not charged.
The run stops before reaching maxItems.
It stops when CV-Library has no more jobs for the search. CV-Library returns at most 10,000 jobs for one search, so split a larger pull by location or keyword.
Some jobs have no salary.
Many advertisers hide the salary. The salary fields are then null and hasSalary is "No".
I see an error row about HTTP 403.
CV-Library blocks many IP addresses. The Actor rotates proxy sessions and moves to UK residential IPs on its own when the default proxy is blocked. If a run still fails, run it again, or set the proxy to RESIDENTIAL with country GB. Error rows are never charged.
