Israel Companies Registrar Scraper
Scrape official Israeli company records from the national registrar, up to a million per run. Every record returns the company name, registration number, status, and registered address. No login or API key. Export to CSV, JSON, Excel, or XML.
The Israel Companies Registrar publishes the official registry of every company incorporated in Israel, but browsing it manually means searching one entity at a time through a government portal. This Actor reads the public data.gov.il datastore directly, so you can pull thousands of Israeli company records in one batch. Filter by company name or number, set a row limit, and get structured data ready for analysis.

Troubleshooting
Why am I getting no results?
Check your 'Company name or number' query. The search is a free-text match, so try a shorter or more general term. Also confirm the resource ID is set to the default companies datastore.
Why does the run stop before reaching my max items limit?
The Actor returns only as many records as match your query and exist in the public API. If your query matches fewer companies than your limit, the run finishes early with all available results.
Some fields are empty in my results. Is that normal?
Yes. Not every field is populated for every company in the registrar. Empty cells mean the data was not provided in the official record.
I got a timeout or API error. What should I do?
The data.gov.il API may occasionally be slow or unavailable. Retry the run after a few minutes. If the problem persists, reduce the max items count to lower the load on the API.
Can I use a different resource ID to get other Israeli government datasets?
Yes. The resource ID input accepts any valid data.gov.il datastore resource ID. You can replace the default to pull from other public Israeli government datasets that use the same API.
FAQ
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| What data does the Israel Companies Registrar provide? | The public datastore includes the company name, registration number, legal status, registered address, and incorporation date for every entity registered in Israel. The exact fields returned are listed in the dataset preview on the Actor's page. |
| Do I need an API key or login to scrape the registrar? | No. This Actor reads the public data.gov.il API, which does not require authentication. You can run it immediately with your Apify account. |
| Can I search for a specific Israeli company by name? | Yes. Use the 'Company name or number' input field to run a free-text search. The API filters records server-side and returns only matches. |
| How many company records can I get in one run? | You can set the maximum up to 1,000,000 records. The actual number returned depends on how many records match your query and what the public API allows. |
| Is this the full Israel Companies Registrar or only a subset? | It reads the public datastore published on data.gov.il, which contains the official registry of Israeli companies. The dataset is maintained by the government and updated regularly. |
| Can I filter by company status, like active or dissolved? | The input schema supports a free-text name or number query. The status field is returned in the output, so you can filter the results after the run in your spreadsheet or code. |
| What export formats are supported? | You can export your dataset to CSV, JSON, Excel, or XML directly from the Apify platform, or push it to a cloud storage integration. |
| Does this Actor scrape the Israel Companies Registrar website? | No. It calls the data.gov.il API directly, which is faster and more reliable than browser-based scraping. There is no headless browser overhead. |
| How often is the data updated? | The underlying datastore is maintained by the Israeli government and updated on their schedule. Each run of this Actor fetches the latest available records from the API. |
| Can I schedule this Actor to run automatically? | Yes. Apify supports scheduled runs. You can set it to pull new Israeli company records daily, weekly, or on any cron schedule you need. |
