PropertyPal Scraper
Scrape PropertyPal listings for sale, rent, new homes, commercial, and land across Northern Ireland, up to a million per run. Every property comes with its price, bedrooms, address, and agent details. Export to CSV, JSON, Excel, or XML.
PropertyPal is the leading property portal for Northern Ireland, but manually collecting listings for market analysis, lead generation, or investment research is slow and repetitive. This Actor reads the public listing feeds directly, letting you filter by location, price, bedrooms, listing type, and more, then returns each match in one consistent schema. No API key or browser extension needed.
| Who uses it | What they scrape PropertyPal for |
|---|---|
| Estate agents | Monitor competitor pricing and new instructions in their patch. |
| Property investors | Find undervalued properties matching specific yield criteria across Northern Ireland. |
| Market analysts | Track asking prices, stock levels, and time-on-market trends by area. |
| Letting agents | Benchmark rental prices and availability against the wider market. |
What it does
This Actor collects PropertyPal property listings by direct URL or search filters and returns each one as a flat row.
- ๐ Full listing details: Open each property page to collect coordinates, EPC ratings, broadband speed, price history, and brochure links.
- ๐ Flexible search filters: Drive the Actor from a direct URL or build a search with location, price range, bedrooms, radius, and listing type.
- ๐ Structured output: Every listing returns as a flat row with address, price, agent, key features, and status, ready for analysis.
- โ๏ธ Fine-grained control: Exclude sale agreed, price on application, building sites, or new homes, and filter by garage, co-ownership, or internal area.
Results export to CSV, JSON, Excel, or XML, or straight from the API.
What you can do with PropertyPal data
๐ Track market pricing trends.
An analyst runs the Actor weekly on 'property-for-sale' in Belfast, filters by price and bedrooms, and feeds the CSV into a dashboard to spot asking-price movements.
๐ก Build a rental yield shortlist.
An investor scrapes 'property-to-rent' across Coleraine with a max price filter, then cross-references the output with sold prices to identify high-yield opportunities.
๐ข Monitor commercial listings.
A commercial agent scrapes 'commercial-property-to-rent' in Derry daily, excluding price-on-application listings, to alert clients the moment a suitable unit appears.
๐พ Find agricultural land.
A rural surveyor scrapes 'agricultural-for-sale' across Northern Ireland, filtering by minimum internal area, to compile a report on land values for a farming client.
Why choose this scraper
| What you get | |
|---|---|

| Rich property data | Optionally opens each listing to pull coordinates, EPC, broadband, and agent details. |
| Bulk export ready | Outputs CSV, JSON, Excel, or XML for direct use in spreadsheets or databases. |
How it compares
No other Store actor targets PropertyPal the same way, so the honest comparison is with the alternatives teams actually weigh.
| PropertyPal Scraper | Build it in-house | By hand | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Setup | Run it now, zero config | Days of engineering | None, but hours per pull |
| When PropertyPal changes | Maintained for you | You fix it | You re-learn the page |
| Proxies, retries, anti-bot | Built in | Your problem | Browser only |
| Output | Fixed JSON schema, CSV/Excel export | Whatever you build | Copy-paste |
| Cost | Pay per result | Engineering time | Analyst hours |
Configure the run
Drive the Actor from a single PropertyPal listing URL or build a search using location, listing type, price, bedrooms, radius, and property features, and filters run as each listing is read so only matches reach your dataset. The Input tab lists every parameter.
A first run with the defaults:

Use with AI agents (MCP)
Give an AI agent live access to PropertyPal through the Model Context Protocol. Add the Actor to Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client:
$claude mcp add --transport http apify "https://mcp.apify.com?tools=parseforge/propertypal-scraper"
Then prompt it in plain language to run the scraper and read back the results.
Troubleshooting
Why am I getting no results?
Check that your location slug is spelled correctly and matches a valid PropertyPal area. Also, try removing some filters like 'Exclude Price On Application' or 'Exclude New Homes' to broaden the search.
The run is taking a long time.
When 'Include Full Details' is on, the Actor visits each property page, which adds time. Reduce 'Maximum properties' or disable full details if you only need the summary fields from the search results page.
Some listings are missing the price.
Listings marked 'Price on Application' have no public price. To skip them, enable the 'Exclude Price On Application' checkbox in the search filters.
I pasted a URL but the Actor used the search filters instead.
The 'Start URL' field takes priority only when it is not empty. Clear the 'Start URL' field if you want to use the search filters, or clear the filters if you want to use the URL.
The coordinates are missing from my output.
Coordinates are only collected when 'Include Full Details' is enabled. Make sure that checkbox is ticked before you start the run.
FAQ
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| Can I scrape both sales and rental listings in one run? | No, the listing type filter selects one category per run. Run the Actor once for 'property-for-sale' and again for 'property-to-rent' to collect both. |
| How do I get the full address and coordinates? | Enable the 'Include Full Details' option. The Actor will open each individual property page to collect the full address, latitude, longitude, EPC data, and agent information. |
| What is a location slug and where do I find it? | A location slug is the URL-friendly name PropertyPal uses, like 'belfast' or 'northern-ireland'. You can copy it from the PropertyPal website URL after you search for a location. |
| Does this Actor handle pagination automatically? | Yes, it follows the 'next page' links on PropertyPal search results until it reaches your 'Maximum properties' limit or runs out of listings. |
| Can I scrape a saved search or a specific URL? | Yes, paste any PropertyPal listing URL into the 'Start URL' field. The Actor will scrape all listings from that search results page, ignoring the other search filters. |
| How do I exclude listings that are already sale agreed? | Keep the 'Include Sale Agreed' checkbox unchecked. The Actor will skip any listing marked as sale agreed by default. |
| What does the 'Co Ownership Only' filter do? | It restricts results to properties that are exclusively available through the Northern Ireland Co-Ownership scheme, which helps buyers purchase a share of a home. |
| Can I filter by property features like a garage? | Yes, use the 'Garage' or 'Large Garage' checkboxes to keep only listings that have those features mentioned in their description. |
| Is there a limit on how many properties I can scrape? | You set the limit with the 'Maximum properties' field, up to 1,000,000 per run. The Actor stops when it reaches that number or when there are no more listings. |
| What output formats are supported? | You can export your dataset in CSV, JSON, Excel, or XML from the Apify platform storage tab after the run finishes. |
