Reddit User Profiles Scraper

Scrape Reddit user profiles by username, keyword, or search URL, up to a million per run. Every profile comes with karma, account age, moderator status, and Gold status. No login or API key. Export to CSV, JSON, Excel, or XML.

Reddit's official API needs an app registration, OAuth, and rate-limits you. This reads the public user search and profile pages directly, filtered by karma, account age, moderator status, or Gold status, and returns each match in one fixed schema.

What it does

This Actor collects Reddit user profiles by username search, keyword search, or direct search URL, and returns each one as a flat row.

  • πŸ” Search by username or keyword: find profiles that match a partial name or interest.
  • πŸ“Š Karma filters: set minimum and maximum total karma to target established or new accounts.
  • πŸ‘‘ Gold and moderator filters: return only users with Reddit Gold or active moderator roles.
  • πŸ•’ Account age filter: restrict results to accounts created in the past day, week, month, or year.
  • πŸ”— Direct URL input: paste a Reddit user search URL to replicate an exact query.

Results export to CSV, JSON, Excel, or XML, or straight from the API.

What you can do with Reddit data

πŸ›‘οΈ Map moderator networks.

A community manager runs a keyword search with the moderator filter on to see which accounts control the main subreddits in their industry.

🎯 Generate leads from Reddit.

A B2B marketer searches for users discussing a pain point, filters by account age and karma, and exports the profiles for outreach.

πŸ§ͺ Study account demographics.

An academic researcher collects profiles from a set of subreddit-related searches and compares karma, age, and Gold status across groups.

Use with AI agents (MCP)

Give an AI agent live access to Reddit through the Model Context Protocol. Add the Actor to Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client:

$claude mcp add --transport http apify "https://mcp.apify.com?tools=parseforge/reddit-profiles-scraper"

Then prompt it in plain language to run the scraper and read back the results.

Troubleshooting

Why am I getting no results?

Check your search query and filters. If you set a high minimum karma or a narrow time filter, Reddit may return no matching users. Try broadening the filters or using a more general keyword.

Why did the run stop before reaching maxItems?

Reddit's user search only returns a limited number of results for a query. If you need more profiles, try different keywords or break the search into smaller queries.

Why are some profiles missing fields?

Reddit sometimes hides certain profile details, such as exact account creation date, for privacy or display reasons. The Actor returns whatever is publicly visible.

Why am I getting blocked or seeing errors?

Enable the proxy configuration in Advanced Options and use Apify residential proxies. Also reduce the number of concurrent requests if you are running many searches.
