RE/MAX Real Estate Scraper

Scrape RE/MAX real estate listings from any search results page, up to a million per run. Every property comes with its price, beds, baths, square footage, and full listing details. No login or API key. Export to CSV, JSON, Excel, or XML.

RE/MAX.com has millions of active listings, but no public API and no bulk export. This Actor reads the public search results directly, applies your filters as it goes, and returns each matching property in one flat row. You get the same data you see on the site, structured and ready for analysis.

Who uses itWhat they scrape RE/MAX for
Real estate investorsFind undervalued properties in a target market
Market analystsTrack inventory and pricing trends by city or neighborhood
Lead generation teamsBuild lists of active listings for outreach
Property managersMonitor rental listings for competitive pricing

What it does

This Actor collects RE/MAX property listings from a search results URL and returns each one as a flat row with price, beds, baths, square footage, and other listing details.

  • ๐Ÿ” Search URL input: paste any RE/MAX search results URL and the Actor follows it page by page.
  • ๐Ÿ’ฐ Price filters: set minimum and maximum price to narrow the results before they are saved.
  • ๐Ÿ›๏ธ Bed and bath filters: require a minimum number of bedrooms and bathrooms.
  • ๐Ÿ  Property type: choose For Sale or For Rent to match your use case.
  • ๐Ÿ“Š Flat output: every listing becomes one row in your dataset, ready for spreadsheets or databases.

Results export to CSV, JSON, Excel, or XML, or straight from the API.

What you can do with RE/MAX data

๐Ÿ“ˆ Track market trends.

A market analyst runs the Actor weekly on a city search URL to see how average prices and inventory change over time.

๐Ÿก Find investment deals.

An investor sets a maximum price and minimum beds for a target area, then exports the results to a spreadsheet for further filtering.

๐Ÿ“‹ Build lead lists.

A real estate team scrapes all For Sale listings in several ZIP codes and uses the output to prioritize outreach.

๐Ÿข Monitor rental competition.

A property manager scrapes For Rent listings monthly to compare asking rents and adjust their own pricing.

Configure the run

Drive the Actor from a RE/MAX search results URL, then set price, bedroom, bathroom, and property type filters. Filters run as each listing is read, so only matches reach your dataset. The Input tab lists every parameter.

A first run with the defaults:

{
"startUrl": "https://www.remax.com/homes-for-sale/ca/los-angeles/city/0644000",

"maxItems": 200

$claude mcp add --transport http apify "https://mcp.apify.com?tools=parseforge/remax-scraper"

Then prompt it in plain language to run the scraper and read back the results.

Troubleshooting

Why am I getting no results?

Check that your start URL is a valid RE/MAX search results page and that your filters are not too restrictive. Try removing price or bed filters to see if any listings appear.

The Actor stops after only a few listings.

Make sure the maxItems input is set high enough. Also check that the search URL does not have pagination limits or that the location has few listings.

I get an error about the URL.

Copy the URL directly from your browser's address bar while viewing RE/MAX search results. The URL should start with https://www.remax.com/.

Some listings are missing fields.

Not every listing shows all fields on the search results page. If a field is empty on the website, it will be empty in the output.

Is this legal?You should only scrape data you are authorized to access. Publicly available listing data is generally acceptable for personal or internal use, but check RE/MAX's terms of service and local laws.
