Troubleshooting
Why am I getting no results?
Check that your keyword is spelled correctly and that you have selected at least one source. Try a broader keyword like 'developer' and enable all six boards. If the location filter is set, try removing it, as not all boards support it.
Why are some listings missing a location?
Some boards do not always display a location field on every listing. When the field is absent on the source page, the Actor leaves it blank in your dataset.
The remote-only filter is not working on some boards.
The remote flag is only applied on boards that expose it in their listing markup. Boards without a remote tag will still return all matching listings regardless of the filter setting.
I am getting fewer results than my maxItems setting.
The Actor stops when it has exhausted all available listings for your query on the selected boards. If the boards have fewer listings than your maxItems value, you will receive everything that exists.
One of the boards is returning errors or timing out.
A source board may occasionally block requests or change its page structure. Try deselecting that board and running again. If the problem persists across multiple runs, the board's layout may have changed and the Actor may need an update.
FAQ
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| Which job boards does this Actor scrape? | It scrapes Jobspresso, Built In, Dev.bg, Authentic Jobs, Behance, and Coroflot. You can select any combination of them in the input. |
| Do I need API keys or accounts on these job boards? | No. The Actor reads the public listing pages directly. You do not need to register an app, obtain an API key, or log in to any of the boards. |
| Can I filter by location? | Yes. The location filter works on boards that support it, such as Built In and Coroflot. Enter a city name or country and the Actor applies it where possible. |
| How do I get only remote jobs? | Set the 'Remote only' checkbox to true. The Actor will restrict results to roles tagged as remote on boards that expose that flag. |

| Can I run multiple keywords in one run? | The Actor takes one keyword per run. To scrape multiple keywords, run the Actor multiple times with different queries, or use Apify's scheduler to run a sequence. |
| How many listings can I collect? | You set the maximum with the 'Maximum job listings' field. The hard limit is one million per run, though the actual number depends on how many listings match your query on the selected boards. |
