Scrape apps and reviews from the Google Play Store:

• Apps: any app by its ID (com.whatsapp) or Play Store URL.
• Search: the apps Google Play shows for a keyword.
• Developers: every app of a developer, by name, numeric ID or developer page URL.
• Reviews: as many as you need per app, newest, most relevant or by rating first. You can keep only some star ratings, or only reviews after a date.

Every app comes with its installs (the rounded and the exact count), rating, rating histogram, number of ratings and reviews, price, in-app purchases, ads, genre, content rating, release and update dates, what's new, screenshots, video, and the developer's website, email, legal name, address and phone. Every review comes with its rating, text, date, thumbs-up count, app version, and the developer's reply.

It works for any country and language. It needs no browser and no login, and it is fast: 2 apps with 900 reviews took 9 seconds, 91 apps from a search and a developer 10 seconds, and 5,000 reviews of one app 39 seconds. It costs $0.10 per 1,000 reviews and $1 per 1,000 apps.

How much does it cost to scrape Google Play?

You pay $0.0001 per review, which is $0.10 per 1,000, and $0.001 per app. Runs that go through Apify's residential proxy also pay its traffic, $0.0012 per 100 KB: an app page is about 220 KB, 1,000 reviews about 160 KB. There are no monthly fees.

Good to know

• A search gives the 30 apps Google Play shows for it, as the site does.
• Reviews, prices and availability are per country: set country to the market you want, and language to the language of the texts.
• Google Play doesn't show the version of apps that vary by device, so there is no version field.

Is it legal to scrape Google Play?

It collects only what Google Play shows publicly, without logging in. Scraping public data is generally legal, but personal data is protected by laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA, and Google's terms may limit how you use what you collect.
