NJ UCC Lien Search - Debtor & Secured Party Filings

Search New Jersey Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) filings directly from the NJ Secretary of State portal. Find active and lapsed liens by organization name, individual debtor name, or filing number. Optionally enrich results with business entity data from the NJ Division of Revenue.

What data do you get?

Each result includes:

state	State (NJ)
filingNumber	Official NJ UCC filing number
filingStatus	Active, Lapsed, or other status
isActive	Whether the filing is currently active
filingDate	Date the UCC filing was made
lapseDate	Computed lapse date (filing date + 5 years)
daysSinceFiling	Number of days since the filing was made
daysUntilLapse	Days until lapse (negative if already lapsed)
pageCount	Number of document pages
entityType	Business entity type from NJ registry (e.g. Domestic Profit Corporation, LLC)
entityTypeCode	Entity type code (e.g. DP, LLC, FPC)
incorporatedDate	Incorporation/formation date from NJ registry
entityId	NJ 10-digit business entity ID

Entity fields are populated when Enrich with Business Entity Data is enabled (default: on). The actor cross-references each debtor name against the NJ Division of Revenue business entity database.

How to use

1. Enter a search query -- Organization name (e.g. "JPMorgan"), individual last name, or filing number
2. Select search type -- Organization, Individual, or Filing Number
3. Enable enrichment -- Toggle "Enrich with Business Entity Data" for entity type and incorporation info
4. Run the actor -- Results are returned in the Output tab
