1. Search on carsales.com.au – Apply the filters you want and copy the URL from your browser.
2. Paste the URL – Add one or more search URLs or vehicle page URLs and set the maximum number of results.
3. Run the Scraper – Vehicles are saved cheapest first and can be downloaded as JSON, CSV or Excel, or pulled through the API.

ℹ️ Good to Know

• Order: vehicles come cheapest first, followed by vehicles listed without a price. Very large searches are collected in several price ranges at once, so their order is cheapest first within each range.
• Completeness: the run log ends with collected X of Y matching vehicles. The site's counter moves while a run is in progress as cars are listed and sold, so a difference of a few vehicles on a large search is normal. When many brand-new cars share the exact same price, year and state, some of them cannot be told apart by any filter; the log says how many and suggests narrowing the search.
• Prices: price is the amount displayed on the listing and priceLabel says what it includes. Dealer drive-away prices also carry priceExcludingGovtCharges. Compare like with like.
• Sellers: sellerId is stable and lets you group a dealer's stock. Carsales shows dealer names, addresses and phone numbers only to signed-in members, so they are not part of the output.
• Photos: listings carry the first few photos and photoCount tells you how many the ad has.
• Suggested vehicles: when a narrow search has few matches, carsales pads the page with vehicles outside your filters. These are left out.
