1. Enter a search term such as tesla, or leave it empty and use the make, model, year and state filters.
2. Set Maximum lots: the default is 50. Turn on Include all photos only if you need the galleries.
3. Run the scraper and download the results as JSON, CSV or Excel, or pull them through the Apify API.

⚙️ Input

Every field is optional. With the defaults the Actor returns 50 lots for tesla from the US marketplace.

estimatedRetailValue and estimatedCashValue are the valuations shown on the lot page, in the marketplace currency. currentBid is null until someone bids; saleStatus says whether the lot sells to the highest bidder (Pure Sale) or needs the seller's approval (Minimum Bid). With Include all photos on, each lot also has an images array with thumbnailUrl, fullUrl and highResUrl per photo.

Salvage auctions move fast: new lots arrive daily and bids change up to the sale date. For deal hunting or a sales history, run the Actor once a day with the same filters, and keep every dataset as a dated snapshot. ❓ FAQ

Does Copart have an official API? Copart doesn't offer an open public API for browsing its auction inventory; its listings are meant to be used on the website and app. This Actor needs no key, account or approval and returns the public lot data as structured rows, with filters and paging handled for you.

Do I need a Copart account? No. The Actor reads only what Copart shows to visitors who are not logged in.

Why is part of the VIN hidden? Copart shows the full VIN only to logged-in members, so the last six characters come back masked (5YJ3E1EA4JF******). The visible 11 characters still identify the manufacturer, model, body, engine and model year.

Why are some fields empty? Fields are null when the lot doesn't have them: engine and cylinders for electric cars, currentBid before the first bid, buyItNowPrice on lots without a fixed price. If a lot's photo gallery can't be loaded, images is an empty list and the lot is billed at the plain lot price.

How do I see Copart sales history and sold prices? Copart's public catalog shows lots that are still for sale, with the current bid. Schedule a daily run on your filters and compare the snapshots: lots that disappear after their sale date, with their last bid, form your own sales history.

How many lots can I get, and from which countries? Any number that matches your filters; the US catalog alone holds over 400,000 lots. For big sweeps (tens of thousands of lots) raise the run timeout in the run options, as the default is 5 minutes. The Actor covers Copart US and Copart Canada, not the UK or European sites.
