Each RV Trader search page holds about 84 listings (42 results plus 42 featured listings for the same search), so 600 listings take about eight pages and roughly one and a half minutes. A listing that shows up on several pages or in several of your searches is saved and charged once.

With details on, each listing is charged as a Detail only, not as a Listing plus a Detail. If a listing page can't be opened, the row is saved from its search card and charged as a Listing; a listing that was removed in the meantime is skipped and not charged.

In the default mode a row has the same fields from id to description, without category, fuelType, length, grossVehicleWeight, images and specs. There description is the short teaser RV Trader shows on the search card (about 150 characters), not the full text; with details on it is the full listing description. Both are plain text with line breaks kept. createdDate is when the listing went up, as the site shows it (Oct 6 2026), and createdAt is the same moment as an ISO timestamp. class is null when the site has no RV class for the unit (mostly cargo and utility trailers). length (feet) and grossVehicleWeight (pounds) are numbers written as strings. images lists the listing's gallery photos in order, one full-size URL per photo. specs is the listing page's spec sheet (only the rows the seller filled in, such as sleeping capacity, slide-outs, water capacity, engine and length). category is filled only when RV Trader publishes one; for RVs it almost never does, so use class.

❓ FAQ

Does RV Trader have an official API? RV Trader does not offer a public API for its listing data; its dealer tools are for managing a dealer's own inventory. This Actor needs no key, account or approval and returns the public data a shopper sees on rvtrader.com: prices, vehicle details, dealers and locations, as structured rows.

How do I check RV prices and values with this data? Paste a search for the make, model and year range you care about, run it, and compare price by year, condition and class. Run it daily and keep the datasets to build your own used RV price guide from real asking prices.

Can I scrape only used RVs, a make or a state? Yes. Apply the filters on rvtrader.com and paste the resulting URL as a start URL. You can add several URLs to one run; Max items caps the total.

Can I get only RVs for sale by owner? Filter the results by sellerType: private sellers show Private and have no dealerName, dealers show Dealer.

Do I need an RV Trader account? No. The Actor reads public listings only.

Why is a field empty? Sellers fill in different fields. In our test runs vin was missing on about 9% of listings, stockNumber on about 20% (mostly private sellers), trim on about 9% and zipCode on about 5%. msrp is almost always null: RV Trader shows an MSRP on very few listings (1 in 600 in our tests). In details mode, fuelType and length are empty when the listing page doesn't list them.

How many listings can I get? RV Trader shows only 10 result pages per search (about 420 results plus the featured listings, so roughly 400 to 800 unique listings depending on the search). The scraper pages until Max items is reached, the results run out or that page limit is hit, and the run's status message says when a search matched more than it could show. For bigger pulls, paste several narrower searches (by make, state, class or price); a listing found by more than one search is saved and charged once. The site covers RVs listed in the United States.

Is scraping RV Trader legal? The Actor collects only publicly available listing data. You are responsible for using it in line with RV Trader's terms and applicable laws, including data-protection rules for any personal data.
