Every row has a type (profile or video). Video rows carry a source: spotlight for Spotlight videos, story for live story snaps, which come with videoUrl or imageUrl and postedAt. spotlightCount and storyCount on the profile row tell you how many videos and snaps were available, and hashtags holds tags such as #nba when the creator added them.

For Snapchat subscriber tracking and creator monitoring, run it once a week with the same usernames: every run is a dated snapshot of subscriber counts and new Spotlight videos. ❓ Snapchat Profile Lookup FAQ

Does Snapchat have an official API? Snap offers developer tools such as Snap Kit (login and sharing features inside your own app) and the Marketing API (for managing ad accounts and campaigns), and gives selected partners access to public profile data. These need a developer account and Snap's registration or approval, and they work on behalf of logged-in users or ad accounts. This Actor needs no key, no approval and no Snapchat account: it reads the same public profile pages anyone can open on the web and returns them as structured data.

Do I need a Snapchat account or login? No. The Actor reads only public profiles and public Spotlight videos. It never logs in and cannot see private accounts, friends lists or private snaps.

What happens with a personal (non-public) account? You get one profile row with isPublicProfile: false and the display name, Bitmoji image and Snapcode only. These rows are free: only public profiles are charged. No videos are returned.

Why is a field empty? subscribers is null when the creator hides the count, website, address and bio are null when the profile has none, and transcript is null when Snapchat has no transcript for that video (not every video has one). views, shares and commentCount are null when Snapchat hides the count for a video. commentCount is the video's total; comments holds the top ones Snapchat shows (up to ~25). Story snaps have no title, views or comments: Snapchat does not publish them for stories.

How many videos can I get per profile? Snapchat shows a profile's most recent Spotlight videos on the web (usually up to 15–30); older videos are not available. Run on a schedule with Posted after to build up a full history over time. Stories expire after 24 hours, so they are included only while live.

How do I find Snapchat influencers in a niche? Use Search queries with topic keywords. Snapchat returns the public profiles it associates with each keyword (typically 10 to 25 per query), and each one is scraped with subscriber count, category and latest Spotlight stats so you can sort creators by reach.

How long do media links work? Video, image and transcript URLs are signed by Snapchat and expire after a while, so download the files you need soon after the run.
