Search Taobao and Tmall (淘宝/天猫) by keyword and get a clean table of products. The Taobao Products Scraper returns each product's title in English (or the original Chinese), its listed price in Chinese yuan and US dollars, the main image, a product link and its rank in the results. Turn on one switch and every row also gets all its variants (SKUs) with their own price, stock and photo, plus the shop name and all product photos. price is the listed price in Chinese yuan (CNY) and priceUsd the same price in US dollars. id is Taobao's encrypted item id: paste it into the Taobao Product Details Scraper to refresh the product later. position is the rank in the results for searchQuery. The fields from shopName on are there only when Add every variant (SKU) is on; each variant's stock is shown up to 200.

Does Taobao have an official API? Taobao's open platform (淘宝开放平台) is for approved partners with a registered app and a Chinese business account. This Actor needs no key, account or approval and returns the product data a shopper sees: title, price, image, variants and stock.

Can I search Taobao in English? Yes. Type English keywords (phone case, bluetooth earphones) and get English titles and USD prices next to the yuan price. Chinese keywords (手机壳, 蓝牙耳机) match the way Taobao shoppers search and often give the widest results.

Do I need a Taobao account or a Chinese phone number? No. The Actor needs no login, cookies or account.

Which price is shown? The listed price of the product, in CNY, plus the same price in USD. Coupons, member prices and checkout discounts are not included. With variants on, each variant has its own listed price.

Why is a field empty? priceUsd can be missing for a few listings; shopName, skus and the photo lists are filled only when Add every variant (SKU) is on. Some listings have one variant only.

Does it give sales counts or reviews? No, search rows carry title, price, image, link and rank; variants add stock, shop and photos. Sales counts and reviews are not included.
