What does Google Jobs Scraper do?

Google Jobs Scraper extracts job listings from Google Jobs, the job search built into Google that aggregates postings from LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, ZipRecruiter, company career sites and hundreds of other job boards.

For every job you get the title, company, location, salary, posted date, employment type, direct apply links (LinkedIn, Indeed, the company's own site…), qualifications, responsibilities, benefits and the full job description, as clean JSON, CSV or Excel.

  • πŸ”Ž Many searches per run: combine any number of job titles with any number of locations.
  • πŸ”— Direct apply links: real URLs to every job board that lists the job, not Google redirects.
  • πŸ’° Parsed salaries: salaryMin, salaryMax, salaryCurrency and salaryPeriod next to the raw text.
  • πŸ”” Monitor mode: schedule it and get only new jobs on every run.
  • 🌍 Any country: US, UK, Germany, India, Canada, Australia and more.

What can I use it for?

  • πŸ“Š Job market & salary research: who's hiring for which roles, where, and for how much.
  • 🎯 Lead generation: companies that are hiring have budget. Find them by role and city.
  • 🧲 Recruiting & job boards: feed fresh postings into your ATS, newsletter or niche job board.
  • πŸ€– AI agents & automations: a structured job feed for your agent, Slack channel, Google Sheet or CRM.

How to use it

  1. Enter one or more search queries (e.g. software engineer, nurse, data analyst).
  2. Optionally add locations (e.g. Austin, TX, London, Berlin) and set Country to match.
  3. Optionally filter by date posted and employment type.
  4. Click Start. Download the results as JSON, CSV or Excel, or get them through the API.

Google shows 10 jobs per results page and loads more only in a browser. This scraper runs your search with a series of Google's own filter phrases (full time, remote, entry level, senior, last 3 days…) and merges the results without duplicates. That usually gives 50 to 150 unique jobs per search, all still matching your query. Set Max jobs per search to the number you need. For broad coverage, add more specific queries or locations (e.g. several cities instead of a whole state).

Get alerts for new jobs (monitor mode)

Set Monitor name (e.g. austin-engineering) and schedule the Actor daily. Each run then returns only jobs it hasn't returned before under that name. Connect it to Slack, email, Google Sheets, Make, Zapier or n8n through Apify integrations.

Good to know

  • Posted date: Google shows relative times ("3 days ago"). postedAt is the date calculated from that; postedAgo keeps the original text.
  • Salary: only present when Google shows one (about a third of US jobs). If the text has no currency symbol, salaryCurrency is empty; it's usually the local currency of the country you searched.
  • Language: keep Language on en for the most complete data. In some countries (e.g. Germany) Google shows only a preview of the description and no highlights, whatever the language.
  • Locations like Austin, TX (+1 other) mean the job is listed for several places.
  • The scraper reads public search results only. It doesn't log in, and it doesn't collect personal data about applicants.

FAQ

Why do I get fewer jobs than I asked for? Google has no more jobs for that exact search, or your filters removed them. Try broader queries or more locations.

Can I search in other countries? Yes. Set Country (e.g. gb, de, in, ca, au) and use local place names in Locations.
