Track a focused set of ClinicalTrials.gov studies by condition, sponsor phrase, recruitment status, and location country. The Actor preserves NCT identifiers, sponsor names, posted status dates, enrollment, conditions, and reported locations. Changes mode delivers a study again when those published fields change.
Example
{"condition":"diabetes","sponsors":["Novartis"],"statuses":["RECRUITING","NOT_YET_RECRUITING"],"countries":["United States"],"maxRecords":50,"maxPages":5,"mode":"snapshot"}
Statuses, sponsor phrases and countries are sent to ClinicalTrials.gov as search filters, so the pages read by the Actor contain matching studies even for narrow queries. The Actor then applies the exact rules: sponsor filters are literal phrases matched against the lead sponsor and study organization, and country filters use exact names from published locations. Snapshot mode returns current matches. For changes mode, use a separate stateStoreId for every saved query and run it sequentially. A summary in the default key-value store reports the examined window and whether more source pages remained.
One paid result is one matching study delivered to the default dataset. The run-start event is $0.01 and each delivered study is $0.002. Platform usage is included. Unchanged and filtered-out studies are not record events.
Limits
Data comes from the official ClinicalTrials.gov API v2. Registry status can lag real-world site activity. A recruiting study may not recruit at every listed location, and a published contact may be unavailable. No result only describes the selected query window and filters; it does not prove that no study exists. This Actor does not recommend treatment, determine eligibility, or provide medical advice. Confirm enrollment and eligibility with the study team and the registry record.
