Scrape Google Play and Apple App Store reviews into one dataset and export them to CSV, Excel or JSON: star rating, title, review text, date, app version, helpful votes and developer reply, for as many countries and languages as you need. Filter by stars, dates, versions and keywords, or schedule it to receive only new and edited reviews.

Both stores come out in the same schema, so you can compare Android and iOS feedback in one sheet, one dashboard or one LLM prompt. Paste app URLs or IDs, or just type the app name.

How to export Google Play and App Store reviews to CSV

  1. Open the Input tab and paste one of the examples below (JSON view).
  2. Click Start.
  3. Download the dataset from Storage → Dataset as CSV, Excel or JSON, or read it through the API.

One app on both stores, US storefront:

{"apps": ["https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.spotify.music", "https://apps.apple.com/us/app/spotify/id324684580"], "countries": ["us"], "languages": ["en"], "maxResults": 20, "maxReviewsPerApp": 10}

Find an app by name in Italy and Germany:

{"searchTerm": "WhatsApp", "searchStores": ["play", "apple"], "countries": ["it", "de"], "languages": ["it", "de"], "searchLimit": 1, "maxResults": 100, "maxReviewsPerApp": 20}

Only 1–2 star reviews that mention crashes or subscriptions, from a date range:

{"playApps": ["com.spotify.music"], "stars": [1, 2], "dateFrom": "2026-01-01", "dateTo": "2026-09-28", "keywords": ["crash", "subscription"], "maxResults": 100}

Real record from a run on 28 September 2026 (app object shortened):

{
"store": "apple",
"appId": "324684580",
"country": "us",
"language": null,
"reviewId": "14599714132",
"rating": 5,
"title": "Love this app",
"text": "If you spend the extra money on the premium this app is good. Although if you prefer unreleased I’d turn elsewhere",

}

A run summary (SUMMARY in the key-value store) groups the exported sample by store, app, country and version, with counts and average rating: handy to spot a release that made ratings drop.

How to monitor new app reviews every day

Set "monitor": true and your own monitorStore. The first run returns the matching reviews in the scan window; later runs return only new reviews and reviews that changed (edited text, new developer reply, more helpful votes), marked new or changed. Unchanged reviews are not returned and not charged.

{"apps": ["com.spotify.music", "324684580"], "countries": ["us", "it"], "monitor": true, "monitorStore": "my-app-feedback", "maxReviewsPerApp": 100, "maxResults": 400}

Save the input as a Task and add it to Schedules (for example 0 7 * * *). Connect the dataset to Slack, email, Google Sheets or a webhook in Integrations. For busy apps, raise maxReviewsPerApp so the window covers all reviews posted between runs. Avoid overlapping runs on the same monitor store.

Use cases

  • Product and QA teams: catch regressions after a release by filtering low ratings on one version.
  • App store optimization (ASO): compare ratings and complaints across countries and languages.
  • Competitor research: read what users like and hate in competing apps, on both stores.
  • Customer support: route new negative reviews to a triage channel every morning.
  • LLM and sentiment analysis: clean, uniform JSON ready for topic clustering and summaries.

Pricing

EventPrice
Run start (1 GB memory)$0.05
Reviews in the dataset$0.50 per 1,000 reviews ($0.0005 each)

Example: 10,000 reviews cost $0.05 + $5 = $5.05. The start fee scales with memory above 1 GB. In monitor mode you pay only for new or changed reviews. Proxy usage, if you enable it, is billed separately by Apify.

Data source and limits

  • Reviews come from the public Google Play web endpoints and Apple's public customer-review RSS feed. No login, cookies or captcha solving.
  • Apple's feed returns at most about 500 recent or helpful reviews per app and country; it has no helpful votes, developer replies or installs.
  • It is not a full historical archive: caps and source limits are reported per app in SUMMARY.tasks.
  • A search by name can match a different app in each store; use IDs when you need certainty.
  • Reviewer names are excluded unless you opt in; profile photos are never exported. Review text may still contain personal information.
  • Public availability is not a redistribution licence: Google and Apple terms apply to how you reuse the content.
  • Invalid input or source errors end the run cleanly; check OUTPUT and SUMMARY for partial results.

Built on the open-source google-play-scraper library (MIT).

FAQ

How do I find a Google Play app ID? It is the id= part of the app URL, for example com.spotify.music.

How do I find an App Store app ID? It is the number after id in the URL, for example 324684580.

Can I get reviews from several countries in one run? Yes, list them in countries; each app/country pair is scanned separately.

Can I get every review ever posted? No. Google Play paging and Apple's ~500-review feed limit history; schedule the monitor to build your own archive going forward.

Do I need a Google or Apple account? No.
