• Tire dealers, retreaders & fleets: confirm that a tire model is SmartWay-verified LRR for its axle position. California's CARB Tractor-Trailer Greenhouse Gas regulation requires SmartWay-verified LRR tires on covered tractors and 53-foot box trailers.
• E-commerce & marketplaces: add an accurate "SmartWay verified" badge to tire product pages, or check supplier claims in bulk.
• Trailer manufacturers & aero device sellers: see competing devices and their fuel-savings tiers.

Aerodynamic device records include deviceName, fuelSavingsCategory, fuelSavingsPercent, isEliteCombination, deviceTypes, testingMethod and testProtocol. Idle reduction records include technologyType, technologyDescription, applicableFor, company and models.

Notes

• Data comes from EPA's public SmartWay verified technology pages and updates whenever EPA updates them. Some approvals apply only to certain sizes or load ranges (see modelRestriction), so always check the size restriction.
