The exchange codes are the FT's rather than the exchange's own, so Nasdaq is NSQ; find an instrument's exact code by searching it on the FT markets site and reading it off the tearsheet URL. London listings are quoted in pence, so check the currency field. Examples: 'AAPL:NSQ', 'SHEL:LSE', 'BMW:GER'. Default is 'AAPL:NSQ'.
