Get the phrases YouTube's public autocomplete service returns for seed searches, with optional A-Z/0-9 expansion and country/language hints.
This Actor is deliberately narrow. It does not scrape videos, channels, comments, views, or search results, and it does not invent search-volume or competition metrics.
What it does
For each seed keyword, the Actor can:
- query the seed directly;
- optionally expand it with
a-zand0-9; - pass country and language hints to the public suggestion service;
- preserve per-query source rank;
- deduplicate identical phrases across the run;
- cap source requests and output rows;
- export structured data through Apify datasets and API.
Example input
{"keywords": ["home workout", "ai tools"],"language": "en","country": "US","expand": true,"maxQueries": 100,"maxSuggestions": 1000,"concurrency": 4}
For a minimal one-request-per-seed run, set expand to false.
Output
Each row includes:
keyword— YouTube autocomplete suggestion;seed— original seed;rank— accepted-result order for that seed;sourceRank— position in the exact autocomplete response;sourceQuery— query that produced it;expansionCharacter— suffix character, or null for the direct seed;languageandcountry;searchUrl— ready-to-open YouTube search;sourceUrl— exact autocomplete URL used as provenance;scrapedAt— UTC capture timestamp.
Pricing
Pay per unique suggestion saved. Duplicate suggestions and empty autocomplete responses are not billed as suggestion rows.
Important limitation
Autocomplete reflects YouTube's current suggestions. It is not exact search volume, CPC, keyword difficulty, or a guarantee that a phrase will rank.
