Federal contract opportunities from SAM.gov as clean, structured rows: solicitations, presolicitations, combined synopsis/solicitations, sources sought notices, and awards, each with response deadlines, NAICS and PSC codes, the full agency chain, place of performance, set-aside type, and contracting officer contacts when the notice publishes them.

Why this over alternatives: the best-known SAM.gov scrapers (scrapesage/sam-gov-scraper with 27 monthly users, fortuitous_pirate/sam-gov-scraper with 20) carry zero public reviews. This actor ships the full record: agency chain, set-aside codes, PSC codes, contracting officer contacts, cleaned description text, and a direct link to every notice.

What you get

  • One row per opportunity with 25 fields, including a direct SAM.gov notice URL.
  • Agency chain (department > agency > office), NAICS codes with descriptions, PSC codes.
  • Response deadline (with the notice's own time zone), posted date, archive date.
  • Set-aside type (small business, 8(a), SDVOSB, HUBZone, etc.) when published.
  • Contracting officer contacts: name, title, email, phone.
  • Plain-text description (HTML stripped) up to 8,000 characters.
  • Award notices carry the awardee name.

Pricing

$0.005 per run + $3.00 per 1,000 opportunities. A 10-opportunity default run costs about a cent.

Use cases

  • Government contractors: find new RFPs in your NAICS codes before competitors see them.
  • Bid/no-bid screening: pull response deadlines, set-aside types, and PSC codes into your pipeline.
  • Market research: track which agencies are buying what, and which vehicles are set-aside for small business.
  • Subcontracting: identify prime awardees on award notices in your vertical.
  • Lead generation: contracting officer names, emails and phones straight from public notices.
  • Compliance and monitoring: daily watches on new presolicitations and sources sought in your space.

FAQ

Where does the data come from? SAM.gov, the US General Services Administration's official system of record for federal contracting. Search queries run against SAM.gov's public search service; records include every field the notice publishes.

Do I need an account or API key? No. The actor runs without any SAM.gov login, and no keys are required.

How fresh is the data? As fresh as SAM.gov itself: results are sorted by last modified date, so the first rows are the notices updated most recently. Active-only mode (default) filters out archived and cancelled notices.

How are deadlines handled? Records carry the response deadline in UTC plus the notice's own time zone and the actual local deadline, so you never miss a bid window over a time-zone slip.

What are NAICS codes? The North American Industry Classification System codes federal buyers use to categorize purchases. Filtering by NAICS is the fastest way to narrow thousands of opportunities to the ones relevant to your business.

Can I filter by set-aside type? Set-aside type is included on every record. Filter the output rows by setAside when you target small business, 8(a), SDVOSB or HUBZone vehicles.

Does it include award data? Yes. Award-type notices carry the awardee name. For award amounts across all agencies, pair this with the free USASpending.gov dataset.

Is there a hard limit? Up to 5,000 opportunities per run. SAM.gov caps a single search at 10,000 records; the actor stays well inside that.
