Commercial Signal Engine
Backend engine for three subscription products:
- WaterWorks Opportunity Radar — identifies Clean Water Act facilities with current or recent non-compliance signals that can precede engineering, compliance, monitoring or corrective-action work.
- Environmental Enforcement Radar — identifies EPA-regulated facilities with current/significant non-compliance and converts the public record into a ranked prospecting signal.
- FDA Remediation Radar — identifies recent FDA warning letters and maps the FDA subject classification to likely categories of remediation work.
What makes this different
This is not a generic scraper. Every output keeps the first-party source, direct evidence and a separate inference layer. It never claims an equipment purchase, consulting engagement or remediation requirement unless the source itself supports that claim. Inferred service needs are explicitly marked for confirmation.
Sources
- US EPA ECHO ArcGIS
All ECHO Facilitieslayer for Environmental Enforcement Radar. - US EPA ECHO ArcGIS
CWA Facilitieslayer for WaterWorks Opportunity Radar. - FDA public Warning Letters listing for FDA Remediation Radar.
No paid API key is required for the MVP.
Example input
{"vertical": "environmental","states": ["NJ", "PA", "DE"],"limit": 100}
FDA example:
{"vertical": "fda","daysBack": 45,"limit": 25}
Output
Each dataset row includes:
- stable
signalId - entity/facility name
- location where present
- event type
- urgency and 0–100 opportunity score
- direct problem statement
- inferred service categories with an uncertainty notice
- raw evidence fields
- publisher, source URL and retrieval timestamp
Release gates
Do not publish a paid Store listing or market accuracy until all three verticals pass live-source tests and samples are manually checked against their source records. This MVP is the backend proof layer for the eventual subscription dashboard/API.
