Scrape the Swiss company register (Handelsregister) from Zefix (Zentraler Firmenindex), the official Swiss central business name index operated by the Federal Office of Justice. Search by name, canton or legal form and export UID, address, purpose and SOGC date as JSON, CSV or Excel. No login required.
What is Zefix?
Zefix is the official Swiss government portal that provides access to the central business name index. It aggregates data from all 26 cantonal commercial registers into a single searchable database. The data is authoritative and legally binding.

FAQ
Do I need a proxy or a login?
No login is needed. The proxyConfiguration input is no longer used; the actor handles connectivity itself.
How many companies can I get per run?
Up to 2000 per run (maxResults, default 100). Run several searches, for example one per canton, for larger exports.
How fresh is the data?
Each run queries Zefix live, so results reflect the register at run time. The sogc_date field shows the last SOGC publication date.
Can I include deleted or liquidating companies?
Yes. Set activeOnly to false; the default is true.
